I just wanted to let everyone know that YCT has just updated our website. Please feel free to join our discussion forum and check out our media clips. And of course, we never turn down donations to our cause. The UT chapter of YCT had an amazing first meeting, probably the largest in its history. There were over 200 students in attendance. Look for YCT to continue to make inroads against the campus left, the media and the Democratic Party this year. We will be holding numerous events this fall, taking on issues such as affirmative action in Texas schools, professor classroom abuse, Michael Moore's propaganda and the persecution of conservative thought on college campuses. We appreciate the support of Free Republic and look forward to working with ya'll in the future. Feel free to contact our state chairman David Rushing at davidcrushing@hotmail.com and our University of Texas chairman Lauren Conner at lauren.conner@bba02.bus.utexas.edu

I used to be a member of YCT too. That's nice to hear.

Its great to see everyone's enthusiasm for YCT.

Here is the link to our donation page

http://www.yct.org/donate.htm

Someone inquired about that earlier.

The Young Conservatives of Pennsylvania are a sister organization with YCT. I hope to fly up there next summer to see how things are going.

I am currently raising money for a nationwide campus tour to spread the revolution.

Ouch, must be hard to operate at UT.

Why aren't there chapters in high schools? Is there a way to start a high school chapter?
