Posted on 09/13/2004 7:25:55 AM PDT by Orange1998
My hard drive crashed! It was a simple and effective program that you right click to spell check. A FR poster recommended the program and it was great. Any help will be appreicated
TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: beeberlikedevice; customes; spell; spellcheckharddrive; tiajunna; veyseries
I keyword search on FR but the the feature is very limited at best.

Check to make sure spell check isn't built into your browser.
I use Safari, on a Mac, and I have spell check enabled.
To: Orange1998
Try using word or some other word processor. Then cut/copy and paste (ctrl+v) into the blog text box and KaPow it's there.

When I open Post Reply there is a thing under the Tagline space labelled "Spell" which when clicked does a spell check of the post reply and offers changes which can be selected.

A good free office suite that has a word processor very similar to MS Word is Open Office. This is open source so it is free.

I know FR has spell checker but this program worked on all threads on the web. It was really nice. All I had to do was right click and the whole page was spell checked with suggestions.

Don't feel too bad. Glad you found your program. I was thinking about making this up for some of the disruptors who post threads like "Bush is an idiet" anyway. Of course, if I post this again, I'd better make sure I use the spell checker EVERY TIME from now on.

Only loosers use spellcheck. What do you mean? I spell check awl my posts. Spelling effects everything and your really risking looking foolish if your to stubborn to yews it. It doesn't work to well with homonyms though.
