Now wait a minute. Can someone fill me in here? I know that the well-heeled can buy the exclusive use of an amusement park for a day, but isn't it a violation of anti-discrimination laws for a park to restrict admission on the basis of religion? Will ticket buyers have to recite the Shahada, the Muslim profession of faith?
Or is this something that happens all the time, and Christian groups often buy out Six Flags for a Christian-only day? Let me know, please.

UPDATE: It seems that Six Flags is closed to the public that Friday, and other Fridays in September, although Fridays in October it is open. My guess is that they rent the park out to groups after the summer season. I'll get a question in to them and let you know. (Note to CBS and the Boston Globe: That is known as "reporting." Or maybe I'll just whip up a fictional memo proving my point and head straight for the bar.)
But, if you a Muslim, rent out the Six Flags. If you are homosexual, rent out Disney. All are welcome, except for the believers in the traditional religions of the West.

Look at it this way - Instead of blowing up the park as a sign of Western decadence and satanism, the Muslims are going there to have fun. So maybe this is a step in the right direction.
Don't be fooled. These events are a great way to videotape patrons, obtain car tag numbers, and run what you glean against the NCIC database.
They can do what they want. It's a private enterprise.
Besides, how much fun can you have when you can't eat a southern BBQ?

I guess if its a private park, they can rent it out to anyone they choose.
On the other hand, if American Christians and Jews had any brains, which thus far they have demonstrated they do not, they would no longer patronize this park - and let the owners know exactly why.
Then when the morons who own this park watch their business flushed down the drain (there are far more Christians and Jews in New Jersey than Muslims - SO FAR - Inshallah!!) they will know why.
Reading between the lines, I'm guessing what is happening here is that a Muslim organization has rented out the park for the day and will only sell tickets to other Muslim groups.
I'm not really sure this is any different than, say, a Baptist or Catholic organization doing the same thing.
Considering the anti-discrimination laws that infest this country, there is really no way for Six Flags to deny a Muslim group the right to rent the amusement park.
