• Democrat voters see the landslide coming and stay home. A couple of Republicans get swept into the Senate on the President's coat tails.
• Ted Kennedy and John Kerry lose their next reelection battles
• The Tom Harkin/Robert Byrd/Jay Rockafeller wing of the Senate start to retire.
• A couple of "centrists" like Evan Bayh and Joe Lieberman form a power bloc that will allow Republican legislation to pass without fillibusters after some concessions to the Democrat agenda. The President will be gracious in victory and reach out to them.

What fillibusters? I think a landslide along with directed campaigning for Republican senate candidates challengers in states Republicans carry in presidential elections will bring in enough senators to make fillibusters unsustainable for DemocRATS. There are a lot of DemocRAT senators up for reelection in 2006. If some of the more vulnerable ones try representing the DNC ra^ther than their states, they could end up as toast just as Max Cleland did.
