I once decided to limit myself on FR and asked Tonkin to take me off the ping list and he did.

I've been asked to be on and off several ping lists in my time here, and not once have I ever been hassled about it. In fact, I think at least 90% of the time I've received a "no problem, will do" type response, which is of course appreciated.
