but Lloyd Benstsen (whose son was also in the same TANG unit as W)

Is it possible that Knox has confused the young Bush and Lloyd Benstsen's son?

Sounds more like memos she would've liked to have typed, if Lt. Col. Killian's wife and son are to be believed.

"Except if Dan Rather is going down for Kerry, you can expect he's going to take Kerry with him."

Ahhh, the very thought of it brings a warm feeling to me heart.

At the time the "strings were being pulled" to get Bush INTO the guard, Papa Bush was a FIRST TERM CONGRESSMAN, and a Republican while the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES was a DEMOCRAT from Texas.

Papa Bush was NOT CIA Director until 1976, AFTER George W. had left the National Guard.

At the time these memos were written, Papa Bush had been a 2-term congressman, and was the FORMER Ambassador to the United Nations, and FORMER liason to China.

Bush was appointed RNC Chairman in 1973. Possibly after one of the memos was "written" but not all of them.

even if the olypia had a "th' key,(which I doubt) it wouldn't look superscripted. It would be underlined as well. There are some words put in her mouth it appears, which is why the article doesn't quote her saying them.

I don't think she mentioned the "selectric" either, as it is not quoted either.

the piece is spun a bit, but the main thing is THE DOCS ARE FORGED, LoL.

And also not quoted is the " they reflect real documents that once existed." part.

How could they reflect real docs that once existed if these were personal memo's which she did not type?

Lets not forget, these docs were never in Bushes personal file, these were memo's alegedly from Killians secret file, and she did not type them, or anything simular.

LMAO this is great stuff

“These are not real,” she told The Dallas Morning News after examining copies of the disputed memos for the first time. “They’re not what I typed, and I would have typed them for him.”

She said that the culture of the time was that men didn’t type office-related documents, and she expressed doubt that Lt. Col. Killian would have typed the memos. She said she would typically type his memos from his handwritten notes, which she would then destroy.

Sorry I'm late to the party but did anyone ask her what kind of typewriters the TANG used in Killian's office...

She said the typeface on the documents did not match either of the two typewriters that she used during her time at the Guard. She identified those machines as a mechanical Olympia, which was replaced by an IBM Selectric in the early 1970s.
