"Kerry is scheduled to speak Thursday to a National Guard convention in Las Vegas."
So the next one to be jettisoned is the one who schedules his stops ?

Good. About time this was made an issue. This business of portraying the national guard like a group of deserters is way past its shelf life.

"When you state that President Bush's years in the National Guard did not, in your opinion, count as serving in the U.S. Armed Forces," the congressional guard and reserve veterans, all Republicans said, "you are slandering the honorable service of all the men and women who have served in the National Guard and Reserves."
This type of garbage from the Democrats is going to backfire on them one of these days. I think they've been very insulting to National Guardsmen and the Reserves. I'm surprised that a backlash didn't start up a long time ago. If I recall correctly, didn't the Democrats try to beat up Dan Qualye on his service in the Guards?

I enlisted in the Navy Reserve in 1966. That little 'save yer ass' move DID NOT save me from spending a FULL year's tour in the SAME two stations JF*ing K was in! Guess because I was a mere Reservist I didn't serve my country. Hell! I served in-country 3-4 times longer than the idiot on the dim ticket. Oh, and by the way, there were three openings when I signed up. No 'political pressure' was needed to get into the Reserves.
How I loathe Kerry and the two-faced libs on this whole subject. I was in the Mekong Delta during Tet '68, Kerry wasn't ...... guess he was a CS too.

Kerry is scheduled to speak Thursday to a National Guard convention in Las Vegas. Kerry could rebound easily in the polls if he would use this as an opportunity to apologize (however insincerely) for his insults against the National Guard, merging into a general apology for all his slander against American forces in Vietnam in the 1970s. He could say this was the indiscretion of youth, and all that.
Kerry will NOT do this because he is a mega-narcissist pompous lunatic.

It's amazing, how Kerry cannot open his mouth without sticking his feet in.

The highest profile local race in my rural Texas county is Sheriff. The three term incumbent Democrat Sheriff is far too good a party man to come out and damn Kerry, but he served in the Texas Air National Guard from the late 60's to early 7o's. The Sheriff resents Kerry comparing those who served in the Guard to those who fled to Canada, and he is doing nothing to advance the national ticket.

I would love to see hundreds of Reservists stand up during Fraud Kerry's speech and turn their backs to him.
That's how traitors should be dealt with.

It's about time the National Guard held Kerry's feet to the fire.
Of course, I keep wondering if he forgot that he supported Clinton the draft dodger.

He does not need to apologize; he needs to commit suicide in shame.
Since he doesn't honor his own service as a member of the USNR, no matter how often he brings it up for propaganda purposes, he naturally doesn't feel any need to honor any one else's Reseve or Guard service.
Hell, he doesn't even honor REGULARS; he calls them "war criminals".
