The fact is (among others) -- Bill Burkett, Robin Rather (Dan Rather's daughter), Barnes, Van Os, are ALL democratic activists in the same area in Texas.
There is a connection here...with the people at least.
The question is: is there a connection with this story that involves them all?
I think these are some questions that need to be asked.
(I wonder if Dan Rather would be willing to put his career on the line to protect HIS DAUGHTER! My gues is yes, IF whe was involved)

Bump! David Van Os is one truly nasty piece of work - he's been around Texas Democrat politics for years and hails from the far left of that party. They've nominated him several times (including this year) as a candidate for statewide office. He's also one of the big liberal activist leaders at the state Dem. conventions every year, and Burkett is often one of his lackeys. Everything about the guy reads left wing nutcase: ACLU, NAACP, LULAC, and every Democrat club imaginable.

But then, CBS flew and met with him, so that just makes CBS look even more stupid if they trusted faxed copies from him.

To: FairOpinion
"Burkett may have been given the memos by the DNC to fax them to CBS, but he most definitely wasn't the one who created them." I was thinking along the same lines. This guy doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but how smart do you have to be, to be a failed forger. Prisons aren't full of geniuses.

Van Os, besides being a true left wing-nut, is probably a low grade lawyer. I worked in labor relations dealing with those sorts in arbitration hearings. Just looking at him reminds me of the last frumpy half drunk lawyer I had to deal with. A true activist. I bet he's on the list for pro bono lawyers for protesters.

You just made me spit Dr. Pepper on my keyboard. Fortunately, its a diet Dr. Pepper.
