The John and Ken Show ^ | Today | StoneColdGOP

Posted on 09/16/2004 10:54:01 AM PDT by StoneColdGOP

Thursday, September 16th, John & Ken will be taking Political Human Sacrifice to the doorstep of Congressman Dreier’s office. Dreier’s office is located at 2220 E. Route 66(E. Alosta Ave) in Glendora. You can view a map here. John & Ken will be in front of Dreier’s office from 3-7pm chanting, FIRE DREIER! We are inviting all our listeners to make signs and join us as we take our political fight to the streets. If you have any questions, e-mail the John & Ken show here.

Congressmen David Dreier (Rep.) and Joe Baca (Dem.) are the choices to be Politically Sacrificed. KFI listeners are encouraged to tell everyone to vote these two hacks out of office. If you want to see their immigration report card and voting records click here. If you missed any of the past interviews, you can listen to them in our Audio Archives section of the website, here. The next question on your mind should be, “Who is running against Dreier & Baca?".

Running against Dreier is Cynthia Matthews & running against Baca is Ed Laning. Click their names to go to their website.

Here is a look at how the voting went on the final poll:

Dreier shows his love for John & Ken David Dreier - District 26 - 76.24%

Chris Cox - District 48 - 7.89%

Darrell Issa - District 49 - 7.43%

Mary Bono - District 45 - 4.48%

I think K & J are good, even great at what they do. It's
been fun watching them 'grow up' a little, since I first
followed them around the streets in their San Diego "man in the street" stunts, during the 96 GOP convention.
They are just wrong about trying to take out a vote in
Congress that would support a Bush plan to better the
situation vs. a new Dem congresswoman - who would have to
vote with her coalition - that is if she planned on getting help from them in her next election.

Great idea, but it all ready failed in CA. As an
employer, I had to obtain and keep forms re status in an
employees' file, or face fines.
That law created in the early 90's was directed at day
laborers, but included office workers, etc.
It created a boon in the forged document biz, and not a
few employers paid some fines. It's a forgotten law now
cause it couldn't be implemented.

You keep spouting this same stuff. The Republicans have been in charge for *years* and it's steadily, incrementally gotten worse.

I give up - you seem to attack to win the battle of one
issue (illegals) rather than see the battle for winning
the war on lots of issues, that help this issue. By that
I mean, Drier is one of our soldiers and needed to keep
our chances of making law that hinders illegals, no matter
how small or long it takes to make the law. Politics being a give and take tug of war, we don't shoot one of our own. Of course I agree on your reasons re Bush must win, we just disagree on whether Bush needs all the Driers he can have for the broader battles to come - and whether J & K have tried to hinder that.
My belief is that politicians do not fear voters.
I believe they mostly think they can find voters who will
believe in them - to the extent that they have the money
or power (Unions, etc.) behind them.
I believe that campaign managers will believe anything
you ask them to, provided you pay them enough.

Not likely, you seem to spout the same narrowminded pep talk for R=good, D=bad in the rest of your post.

you seem to attack to win the battle of one issue (illegals) rather than see the battle for winning the war on lots of issues, that help this issue.

Its 1 seat for crying out loud. Stop being so hysterical.

By that I mean, Drier is one of our soldiers and needed to keep our chances of making law that hinders illegals,

First of all, he's not "our" and there are no "soldiers" in Congress. This illuminates your simple minded binary understanding of the American political process. Did you even look at Dreier's voting record? Not only would he not make a law hindering illegals, he has CONSISTENTLY voted against others' laws that do just that. He is an open borders, Cheap Labor Republican and he couldn't be more opposed to what is in my best interest where he to try.

Politics being a give and take tug of war, we don't shoot one of our own.

Wrong. If there is any tug of war going on, it is between the powerless average American and the elites who donate and control our government. While the GOP is the lesser of two evils and normally on "our" side, on this issue by any objective account, they are working against us. Therefore, they have to be taught a lesson in the only way they listen to, a loss of their personal power. Its only one seat, this is a pruning action of the GOP that is otherwise unchallenged because the Democrats have moved so extremely to the left they have become a permanent minority.

My belief is that politicians do not fear voters.

The hell?

I believe they mostly think they can find voters who will believe in them - to the extent that they have the money or poweraaaaaand why are they trying to find voters again? You not only are contradicting yourself, you make positively NO SENSE whatsoever. I can understand that because as you dig deeper into your position you find there is no logic in voting for Cheap Labor Republicans when the GOP has a 22 seat majority already, and you just start to rant.

I believe that campaign managers will believe anything you ask them to, provided you pay them enough.

There is no "belief" required, there are many businesses giving thousand dollar donations to every Congressman in the Southwest so the cheap labor spigot keeps flowing and no one is prosecuted for employing illegals....you wanna get together a bunch of your anti-J&K Republican "warriors" and out contribute that? Thanks for making my point. Americans have only the ballot box to protect them, and you silly binary knee jerkers aren't helping the average American.

Another thread said the turnout sucked. You guys are delusional if you think a couple of radio jock mouths are going to take out David Drier.

If you weren't concerned, you wouldn't be posting, "Deacon".

Whereas, if you stop the incentive to come and then take/send the money away from our economy - we have fixed the original lure. Stopping the flow of money, by ILLEGALs, out of our economy would help to fix the original problem, i.e., we're going broke supporting the old folks left behind in Mexico.

Even with the fire to Dreier's toes, he still voted to do exactly what you don't want: to make it easier for people to send money out of the country using matricular cards. I've defended my congressman, David Dreier, on here many, many, many times. In the primary I voted for Soto, and in the general, unless Soto comes back as a write in, I'm voting for the lady with the (D) after her name.

[...]Drier's district has lots of middle class Asians and Hispanics who vote GOP but are not attuned to the human sacrifice message.

It's Dreier. I know, it's an annoyingly hard name. Had to train myself to type it right. Wish the spell check had politician names in it. As for immigrant Asians and Hispanics, most of those in his district not only came here legally, but hate those who break the laws and come here. They're the ones who feel it most directly, from the reactions of people angry at the illegals which rubs onto them, from their kids who are threatened by the illegal gang members, from the illegal Asians who peddle the drugs, from the illegal Hispanics who drive down house values and school quality.

They're the ones who are most angry at school districts which try to teach their kids in Spanish or Mandarin whereas they use English in the home. If their attention comes to focus on Dreier for how he votes, they will flock in droves just to nail him to the wall.

We really need a second choice as a write in for the general election, and we need it now. I don't like voting for democrats, but that's my sole choice at the moment to make a difference.

David Dreier could care less if he's voted out of office. That's why he's so arrogant. At his website you'll find out that he's still in his family's business in Kansas City, Missouri. IOW he's loaded!

Who on any side of the political spectrum exhibits such "finesse?" Bush advocates slow motion amnesty and sKerry simply wants it to happen now.

Couldn't say, I wouldn't go as I have a job. I am not voting for Dreier, and neither are a lot of others here, which is the true litmus.

This thing is going to fall flat on its face.

Keep taunting, it is painfully obvious you wouldn't be compelled to post on these J&K threads were it not for your insecurity about David's reelection bid.

I'll show you how insecure I am about Drier getting re-elected.

I'll bet you one thousand dollars that Drier is re-elected. Send me your email privately, and I'll arrange for a deposit.

That is, if YOU think Drier's going to lose.

So that's why his face is on any cable channel that will have him and every talk radio show broadcast in SoCal except this one? Hardly, he's more visable now then ever.

From people I've heard who know him, he's as power hungry a Washington player as anyone. I couldn't think of a career politican who's never had a real job in his life who would deal with this lose worse than Dreier...maybe Algore. Call it a tie.

Why is it always come down to infantile bets with you loudmouths?

I am not that confident Dreier is going to lose, unlike you I'll admit that its going to be tough like the recall was.

Then again I'm not pooping up threads taunting people with defeatism about the noble effort....as if I would trust you with an honest assessment.

As I said before, if you were honest then you wouldn't bother with us goofballs in CA. It wouldn't be worth you time, its not like he's going to lose, right? That is your point after all. Plus its out of state....something about this's got you spooked. I LOVE it.

Ahhhh I see, you pretended to argue about the subject as part of a grand conspiracy to place a bet? How "immoral" of you.

FYI, when you are actually hustling someone, you don't come out and blather on about how impossible it is to win BEFORE you propose your easy bet...you would talk about how likely it would be for the incumbent to lose to appetize the mark...course that's giving you the benefit of the doubt that you aren't just CYA...you've never been a convincing LIAR on here sinkspur, that's why everyone laughs at you when you pretend to be some "Deacon" LOL.

Are you a hardened, expert bookie tonight sinkspur? Is that the latest internet persona?

I am in David Dreier's district. I am a Republican and will be protest voting Democrat for the first time in my life. Open-border Dreier has been in office for 24 years and is damaging California and the U.S. with his work to grant illegals a legal status, illegal aliens social security, ensure illegal aliens can travel freely between the U.S. and Mexico, etc. We can't get him out of office during a primary because he has so much money no Republican will run against him. Therefore, Republicans are piggybacking on the Democrat vote to oust him. The rookie Democrat will be in office for two short years. Dreier's district is a plum Republican stronghold. At the end of the rookie's two years, a worthy Republican will come forward. The goal is to get Dreier out and a worthy Republican in. Sacrifice is the only way.
