Click the link and go to the area where they let you "discover" who you need to vote for. Go through the Q&A section. Towards the end it has a tricky little question about how important it is to you that a candidate has served in the military. Kerry is "yes". Bush is "no".
National Guard isn't service to our country?!
AOL says they are the Internet, too.
I can not understand why people are still on AOL.
For about the same money you can get DSL.
Who's going to break this to the guys over in Iraq?
Problem solved!
(Of course, they'd probably taste like spam or something. Fry 'em first in the microwave.)
I dare AOL to tell that to the families of the National Guard members who have died in Iraq and in Vietnam.
"Definitions
Active Duty
An employment status of the United States Air Force personnel that states the member was Regular Air Force, or Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve in training or on duty...."
He trained with the AF and served in TANG, which is part of the AF. AF is part of the military.
I guess they did not realize Kerry was never in the "Navy" either. He was in the Naval Reserve.
AOL is owned by Time ragazine, which constantly shills for the Demonrats. While in pilot training and OTS, Bush had to have been on active duty for more than a year and a half. Certainly a lot more active duty time than Cliton (misspell intentional) ever served. I know a lot of guys who were draftees who only served about that long, no one says they didn't serve. It just shows you how lazy and ignorant the main-stream media is, which is why they are going down in ratings all the time.
AOL has a plan where they only charge $9.95 a month for customers who already have a DSL plan with another provider. (AOL rides 'piggyback' on the DSL).
As much as I detest AOL's liberality and their anti-conservative bias I pay the ten bucks a month for their other services, like email and free computer protection. I also enjoy challenging their liberal-slanted 'news' on their message boards.
AOL and CNN are both owned by the same anti-American company.
Please stop supporting anti-American companies.
Drop your AOL service--get a DSL line or a cable modem from a company other than Time Warner.
They charge way too much for the service provided. Their customer service sucks big time. They make canceling your account very painful.
Who cares about AOL?
They offer NOTHING I can't get someplace else, often for free.
This will come as quite a surprise to my husband and two sons serving in the ANG. Two of them being Iraqi Freedom veterans. AOL is a joke!
AOL is the internet with training wheels.
I have known thinkers who were internet users and I have known AOL users, never have the twain been the same.
