I wish to go on record as one who doesn't care WHAT Bush did while in the Guard. I don't care if he served, skipped out, got drunk, took cocaine, got in because of favoritism, served with honor, etc. etc.

He did NOT go to Paris and consort with the enemy. He did NOT dodge service. He did NOT attack his fellow Guard members and call them war criminals.

Whatever his past, he became a good and decent man who takes the safety of this nation to heart. I absolutely do not care if they produce documents that show a cocaine-addled Lt. Bush took a girlfiend to Tijuana. It has NOTHING to do with what we are dealing with today.

Frankly. I have loved this story as long as it follows the current path. It skewers both Kerry and the MSM right in the middle of their smear machine in a place where Bush is the most heavily defended. Gosh, this is the 5th time this horse has been trotted out.. And, because of this.. Kitty Kelly's drivel has been received with all of the welcome of someone covered horse manure.

And, all of the charges being screamed by the Kerry camp of jokers are being all lumped together with this pack of papers... it has been glorious. If CBS keeps this up another week, still insisting on the authenticity of the original documents and if they do try to give us more MS Wordstuff... that would be the best.

Oh, I agree, but it really is delicious seeing Rather and CBS being being barbequed so nicely. WE have always known that the media is doing this--they've usually been a bit more subtle, but pulling the same stung even so--but now even people who once thought "network news" was unimpeachable now question what's being reported. That's really a huge step forward for our country.
