I used to live in Lone Pine ... and have friends there and in Bishop ... beautiful territory.
Glad to know there's a Freeper in that neck of the woods.

Thanks. Lone Pine home is a beautiful place and I have a few friends down there too. I don't know if there are other Freepers living near me.

Everybody has to remember to ping blam, until he's back and can browse for himself.

Looks outside the caldera region. Quite a swarm there, but may be tectonic rather than volcanic. Looks to be near the Mono Craters.

Beats a Hurricane. At least we don't have cows and goats blowing into the spa from the next county.

Nothing?
Thanks a lot, I am not that many miles from there, only about twenty miles north of the Nevada - Kalifornia border on Hwy. 395.
BTW, the Nevada state capitol of carson City is only another fifteen miles North, and Reno is only fifty!

Early this year there was a siesmologist on the Goerge Noory "Coast to Coast" show who predicted a 5.5 quake near Mammoth Lake region to occur around Sept. 5th! Apparently he was off by a little bit. I'm sure George will be talking about this Monday night.
