We are all assuming that Burkett is the source. Who leaked the information about Kinko's in Abilene... Robert Strong, not exactly a Bush fan.

I think someone should try to get in contact with Burkett, because the DNC/CBS/Kerry campaign are sure making it look like he is the culprit. He might turn on them, especially if he didn't forge the memo.

His email is available in the Yahoo groups.

Do you know what this is about???

You have a candidate and all of us do. Your candidates are afraid to fight down and dirty. The people say they're sick of this- and they are. But Bush has nothing to lose. And he will do ANYTHING to get what he wants.

Amazing but typical. They are willing to say or do anything to attack GWB. He campaigns cleanly and they turn around and accuse him of what they are guilty of.

This bozo has crossed the line, apparently, and will be made to answer for this garbage. What a loon.

And that's what is about to get the elec tion tight enough that the dirty tricks in the voting booth and counting will work.

Finally, an admission from a democrat that they engage in voter fraud!

Hmmmmmmmm

So, Brikett says he gave Max Cleland these false docs, and he, after batting the idea around with the DNC, gave them to Rather?

Max Cleland says he referred Burkett to the Kerry campaign mid-August. Burkett says in this posting:

I spent some time on the phone with the Kerry campaign seniors yesterday after having to threaten to whip a little ass in order to get through seven layers of bureaucratic kids trying to get a job after the election. I talked with Max Clelend.

Did Max Cleland really blow him off?

No. Max spoke with him and referred him to the Kerry campaign.

Parallels Drawn Between CBS Memos, Texan's Postings

excerpt:

Cleland confirmed that he had a two- or three-minute conversation by cell phone with a Texan named Burkett in mid-August while he was on a car ride. He remembers Burkett saying that he had "valuable" information about Bush, and asking what he should with it. "I told him to contact the [Kerry] campaign," Cleland said. "You get this information tens of times a day, and you don't know if it is legit or not."

~snip~

I don't give much weight to Cleland's disclaimer at the end. He wouldn't refer just anybody to the Kerry campaign.

Is this guy really talking about voter fraud in a presidential election?

How did Burkett get Cleland's cell number?

A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.

I spend a fair amount of time over the years talking to schizophrenics through my work. I am not a mental health person but in a field where I interact with more than the normal share of nuts. This guy has the same sort of well organized persecution delusions that I have seen before.

He is sufficiently coherent to write a piece that has some consistency but it is the same sort of "sinister forces" type thinking that characterizes other delusions that I have heard.

Max Cleland lost when he played with a loose grenade,
he is just as likely to loose while playing with this loose cannon.

Eliminate the period he put in with his poor grammar and it makes more sense.

Do you think accusing Republicans of voter fraud "makes more sense?" I don't read it the same way you do, even with changing the way it was written by removing the period.

"He (Kerry) has left himself as a piñata at the end of Karl Rove's baton."

Have you noticed that the Dem's think Karl Rove is a combination of Moriarity, Fu Manchu and Blowfeld all rolled into one Republican Strategist.

I have just read several of these and the discontent he feels for the DNC is so strong, I almost b elieve he purposely leaked the forgeries knowing they would be exposed as such to hurt to the DNC...anyone agree? He seems like a Clintonite/Hildebeast-ite and wants to destroy Kerry to usher in the Golden Age of Klinton II.
