Freerepublic was just called "radical" by a guest on MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Buckhead was mentioned again. They are also discussing conspiracy theories, blogs, and the usual chatter on Dan Rather's nosedive into silliness.
Cool, more people will soon become exposed to the truth.

Early in the history of our republic there were a few very important commentaries posted under the alias of Publius. They were called The Federalist Papers.

I'm a woman and I know that I *am* liberated. I just don't accept the left, pro-abortion, one-size-fits-all definition of "liberated."

Decided to look at her site out of curiosity. Italics are quotes from her blog.

********* Barbara is no doubt suggesting the Selectric Composer which is really not a typewriter, it only looked like one. It was -rather- a printing shop machine. It was an: expensive ($4,000 in 1070's), nasty. complex, ill tempered, error prone machine, with a user manual that might as well have been written by the idiots that write VCR manuals. One posting tells how his dad owned a print shop and got so disgusted with the Composer that he ordered the poster (his son) to carry it out to the street and put it in the garbage!

Interesting that you call Free Republic a radical site. Your blogs are so mainstream and even handed.

The thirteen year olds?? I don't know what that's about,no,over the depression from Dan rather "caving", as they put it,and over the frantic conspiracy theories being propogated. I have that place on my blocked site list,but after all the aggravation from Rather and the DNC trying to falsely smear President Bush,a little gloating seemed not amiss:)

I consider such epithets to be a badge of honor. Witness the tagline bestowed upon me.
Are you kidding me.. we ARE radical because we believe in freedom, democracy and less government. To a socialist/communist - those are very, very radical concepts.
