How is "a peaceful interpretation" possible when their "Sacred" Scripture contains exhortations by the Prophet to murder infidels?

Who among the rug pilots has the authority to tell them that some of the words of the Prophet (Nuclear annihilation be unto Him) are "Valid", and others aren't?

How can we ever expect to have "Peaceful Coexistence" with Islam when the Koran explicitly tells them not to try to "Peacefully Coexist" with **ANYONE** else?

This is nonsense to me. Nobody is "importing" Muslims to Europe, they are legally emmigrating there, (unfortunately), as they have been for decades, or should I say centuries. The truth is that this mass Muslim emmigration to nations whose religion and way of life they detest amounts to Islamic aggression against the West, Christians in general, and all "infidels" in particular. That we allow it amounts to Western STUPIDITY.

If any one is claiming that Islam's terrorism is somehow benefitting America and Western Europe I'd say they're out of their mind. We are still recovering from the devastation of 9-11 and it destabelized our economy for years. How do the train bombing in Spain help them? As for France's Muslim population, their government is busy making laws that suppress Muslim dress, (to their great credit), and while I have no love for the craven France I cannot see how Islamic terrorism is helping them either. It forces Western governments to spend untold billions of dollars on security measures. So when this nutcase in Russia says "the West" is fostering Islamic terrorism so that Christians and Muslims will wage war with one another, I have to place that notion deep into the paranoia bin and close the lid.

In a word: Kosovo, in another couple: Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Albania, Bosnia, Crete, southern Sudan, Eritria. PLO, to which Mr. Powell sent $60 million and which US marines saved from annihalation by Israel. Both the US and Russia are guilty of the situation that now exists. Both tried to play (and the smaller powers of Europe did this too) the Islamics against each other but in truth, it is the islamics that were and remain smarter then the nihilistic leadership of the whole of the West, for they are much more united and instead play the politicians and ancient rivalries of the West off on itself.

I'm always amazed at posts like this, how twisted people's vision can be. History, (ancient and modern), shows me that Islam is an aggressive, conquering, bloody cult that has always made its gains through invasion and terror. Few could look at their oppressive culture and savagery and desire to convert to Mohammedism. The only thing that has prevented history from recording another few hundred years of Islamic conquests and bloodshed is the fact of Western man advancing in technology while Islamicism has been stuck in the middle ages due to their twisted beliefs and stagnant culture.

It doesn't take a genius to conclude that Islam doesn't require any 'outside' aggitation to spur them to destroy all things not Islamic. What great 'mastermind' turns Muslim fanatics against Hindus in Kashmir? What 'outside' power instigated the Taliban to destroy centuries old statues of Buddah? HATE is the emotion extracted from the teachings of the 'Koran', hate is what drives them, unites them, energizes them and spurs them to attack anything non-Muslim. History doesn't lie unless you look at it through some sort of distorted prism instead of clear glass.

If anyone believes, even for a moment, that Islam is not bent on the conversion and/or conquering of Christianity and the eradication of Jews they either do not understand the nature of Islamic fanaticism, do not read history, or possess no training in the Christian faith or Christian history; or all of the above.

The murderers are saying the same thing on the tape as Eugene Armstrong's head is sawed off and as he continues to scream until the last couple of cuts........These people(?) are beyond barbaric........America needs to wake up and realize that they'd like to do that to every one of us. I truly hope that President Bush goes medieval on these wasteoids on the day after the election.

My thoughts too. That last video is really chilling, hearing that poor guy scream until he died. I may sound out of line here and maybe it may not sit well with some but I'm getting pushed more and more into the "Islam is a death cult" camp more and more. I know there are some voices out there, Moslem voices, that are calling for a reformation of Islam, but it is too few. There will be one day that no amount of talking will stop some Western power, be it US, UK, Russia, etc., from nuking that "Borg Cube" in Mecca.

I saw that video yesterday, had trouble sleeping, but it shows us why we have to fight and what for, we need to keep stoking that fire.
