My guess is that it will be headed up by Sen. John McCain.

What the hell for? Like anyone will vote one way or another because of their findings on this 'issue'.

i wouldn't bet that any organization would go out on such a weak limb like this unless highly motivated...who was pulling the strings over there and why?
Is it Heinz money, Soros money, or something deeper yet?

I saw Shales for the first time on TV last night on
Hardball for Pubbies, Softball for Demonrats (the show's full title) and boyoboy, is that guy
weird. He looks like he was just embalmed and sounds like some affected English professor at a small liberal arts college in New England.
He should not venture out into the sun. Sheesh.

Alex Jones, director of Harvard University's Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy, said it appeared to be an honest mistake by CBS. But he said the network was too slow to respond.
Looks like this one's angling for a panel job. These are the kinds of folks that will be on this so-called, "independent" panel.
They'll all say Harvard, Yale, PhD, etc., beside their name. No one will be willing to call it a whitewash even though they all know these are frontline liberals. America is so in awe of these places because they've been taught to believe that common sense is inadequate in the presence of paper degrees.
