John Kerry will be visiting the University of Pennsylvania on Friday, 9/24 at 12:00 noon. He will be at Hill Field, which is located adjacent to Hill College House (34th Street & Walnut).
I'm a member of the College Repubs, so I'm going to try to organize a counter-protest. Separately though, any FReepers interested in coming and protesting Kerry, feel free.
(For anyone who needs more info on UPenn, it's located in West Philadelphia. Directions can probably be obtained by visiting www.upenn.edu. We're a block away from Drexel University as well.)

That's my alma mater, Wh '76. What's the political climate at Penn these days? The alumni mag is sickening.
Very liberal although conservatives are making inroads
Yeah, it's still a largely liberal university, but there's a decent conservative movement on campus, especially within the Wharton school. Our recent College Republicans meeting drew more than 300 students (about half of which were female, in my estimation)... the most in the history of the club.
College '85 grad here. I only check the alumni magazine for death notices. It's such a worthless piece of junk. I do give them credit for finding me though, no matter where I move, even though I've never given them a penny.
How did the freep go?
