Thank you, I'll be here throughout the week, please tip your waiters and waitresses.
Isn't it interesting how stupid some things (like this article) look after 10 years....
I like you, AII, and so it makes me sad to see you posting this way. From your post we must conclude one of two things.
Either:
1. You're talking through your hat about what you "personally know" the numbers are wrong, or
2. Your revelation unto us about what you "personally know" is the true, and therefore a release of classified information.
Either way, it looks bad for you...
I don't dismiss your sincerity, just like I would not dismiss the sincerity of any who believe God told them to go kill someone or that their dog talks to them or that they think they are Moses. However it is those beliefs themselves that I dismiss as shear fantasy. There is key difference there that you are not grasping. Just like you can not grasp my sarcasm in my previous post. I didn't say that your magazine was against the Jews, if you weren't so serious about this conspiracy stuff you'd see the criticism in the form of sarcasm for what it's target is.
As for being a friend of Russians, that's funny since you treat them as retarded children or as enemies, which is it? Are they such retarded children that no one there can figure out that they are run by communists and all think they over threw them in June of 1991? That would make a 147 million idiots. Otherwise, they are all in on this conspiracy and thus they are all the enemy, even to the point of faking their own economic collapse and stoically suffering just to trick the West for final conquest.
So which one is it: are the Russians idiots or all evil?
I thought it was: Bill = playboy; Hill/Gore = Socialist/communist activity - though Bill did have to sign some EO-s to make it happen - I read Gore was heavy into the IMF money/secret cities bit for Russia
just my opinion -
I read some of that - and thought - this is one example of why people don't know who to believe -
Much disinformation is coming out - but if people go by actions and not words - there is a chance this type of activity will be to no avail -
Jb6,
Your response to my "rude and dismissive" comment didn't address anything at all (except that you did it again). You call your behavior it "sarcasm", I call it insulting. I wonder how you would react if someone began insulting your sincerely held beliefs? Would you respond in kind, or shake the dust off your feet?
I will be posting an article today or tomorrow that will answer your question re: Russians. For now, suffice it to say, that the Russian people are neither stupid nor evil. They suffer under the yoke of Communism, albeit under new and deceptive labels.
That argument of yours is a sly ad hominem attack. If you wish to discredit him, then please offer the real facts on how many nukes Russia has today as this is where the whole argument is stemming from not to mention a bit of personal disagreement(being polite here) between the two for other reasons. That will prove more than enough since we will have facts to work with not personal beliefs or emotion.
It is complete nonsense to claim communism is stronger than ever. What evidence could possibly support such an absurd conclusion? Their armed forces are in shambles often not even paid; they have lost huge swathes of their territory; the satellite nations are hostile and independent and now part of NATO. E. Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Albania are all snuggling up to the West and the US and they face an intractable set of terrorist lunatics.
Not only is the country NOT stronger than ever it is so weak it may be in danger of causing more problems through its weakness than it did while strong.
As for the infiltration of the CIA one should be aware that Angleton's paranoia may come from the FACT that his best friend was Kim Philby for many years who he trusted implicitly. So I would have to say that his judgment was not the best.
I see no need to waste further time on a stupid thread.
When my ideas or views get rediculed and they do, I either accept the criticism or I defend it, I do not get bent out of shape that some one dare dismiss my views or not agree with me. Sorry, wrong place for that.
Again, yes I insulted your beliefs as ludicrous, I did not insult your sincerity. If you want the truth, I pity that you put so much effort into so much fantasy instead of using it more productively.
They suffer under the yoke of Communism, albeit under new and deceptive labels.
Riddle me this...have you ever been to Russia? I have, on numerous occassions, last time being last year. If Moscow and the Russians are under communism, then NYC is even more so, because a more capitalist, commercialized and for that matter religious place you won't find anywhere in Europe.
And our moving of NATO to the very frontier of Russia is its greatest trick.
Goofy thinking.
I am not afraid of Russia falling apart of becoming a third rate power and the citizens of Belaruss and central/eastern Ukraine and eastern Moldovia generally want unification. At the same time I'm not afraid of them attacking us. What on earth would be the gain? Besides mutual destruction and the survivors being ruled by Islmo-facists cockroaches?
Quit trying to sound all high and mighty. I don't mind honest debate. I'm even ok with sarcasm (as long as it doesn't become too personal). But what I am not ok with is constant ridicule to the point where it becomes a continual flame session. You think I'm wrong, I think your wrong. But you don't see me camparing you to a Jew-hater. Nor do I imply that you hate Russians even though you deny they are still trapped under Communist tyranny. I also didn't compare you to those who believe in little green men, or insinuate that you should put tinfoil over your head to filter out damaging intergalactic brain-waves. I think people like you constantly flame others because it's easier than having to put together a cogent argument and defend it. You can just move on from silly comment to silly comment without having to stake a position on anything. All flamers have to do is think of new ways to say "you're crazy." Don't get me wrong, I have had a few knock down, drag out slam-fests on this site. But I realized all it does is generate a temendous amount of heat and virtually no light. That doesn't suit my purposes because I am here to get the word out on serious subjects.
I have never really been afraid of nuclear war with the Soviets. It's just not their style. Virtually every country they have devoured was done by a combination of deception, terrorism, revolution/coup d'etat. Their goal has always been to "win without fighting", or at least minimal actual combat (because they would simply lose). That's why they had to stage their own funeral, to dupe the much more powerful West into going along with their long-range strategy. Otherwise, they'd still be in a Cold War standoff with us. Now they can take countries (like S. Africa, Venezuela, Brazil, to name a few) and turn them into Marxist dictatorships without arousing the West's very natural fear of the "Evil Empire." I really can't understand why more people don't get that.
This is discussion = This is a discussion
I think I responded to the wrong person in my last post. But no matter, I think it applies equally to anyone on this thread.
Interesting. In this post, you wrote:
I do not know the actual count, and if anybody says they do, they are lying.
I look forward to hearing your lame excuse for--er, clarification of--the apparent discrepancy between Post 54 and Post 48. Perhaps you are emulating John Kerry, giving us a series of nuanced answers.
Either or, is a wide range, and also + - is a wide range. All you know is the figures are inaccurate, or I am blowing smoke.
Take a guess, and build a war plan with it. -grin-
