In a speech today in Philadelphia, Senator Kerry said: "Iraq is now what it was not before the war -- a haven for terrorists. George Bush made Saddam Hussein the priority. I would have made Osama bin Laden the priority."
Well, pardon the vanity, but I'm curious is anyone is making this counter-argument: Before the Iraq war, Osama, and all his henchmen, were hiding who knows where - Pakistan, Afghanistan, and if we weren't in Iraq, they'd be hiding there too, getting who knows what kind of aid from Saddam.
But now that were in Iraq, and the terrorists are basically stuck in Pakistan, the only choice they have is to join an insurgency of terrorists crossing the border into Iraq and come at us. As Bush said "Bring It On".
We can't drop bombs on terrorists hiding in unknown caves. But now that we're trying to set up a western-style democracy in their back yard, we've are drawing them out. Kerry calls it a haven. I call it a hunting ground.

I think they were there in the first place, but anyway you look at it, we now agree we found them in Iraq.
