REPUBLICAN VOICES

The New Home for Intellectual Conservatism

www.republicanvoices.org

Dear Fellow Republican,

I would like to bring to your attention a growing conservative/Republican newsletter that will be the new home of intellectual conservatism. I am the President and Editor in Chief, writing under a pseudonym due to public education who is a student at one of the schools. I am one of the lone Republicans living in Boston and in my columns am planning to unearth deep inside the public education system, how it fails to provide students a decent education, brainwashes students minds politically and the reforms needed to make a change in them.

I am 11-years-old and started Republican Voices as a blog, two years ago. As a blogger I received hundreds of comments urging me to open up a separate site outside of the blog and make Republican Voices into a newsletter. My readers wanted more of it, so I opened a site up at Geocities in February. Republican Voices began being sent to over 10,000 people each time it was updated, conservative/Republican Yahoo Groups members, people who subscribed to the newsletter from the site and local political friends. I received a generous benefactor who decided to pay for www.republicanvoices.org and in March the site opened.

What touched me to open this site was when I was looking at an anti-Bush site one day and saw on the very top, two proudly placed upside down American flags. I took this image as personally offensive to me. Being a proud patriot, I could not believe how Americans can offend Americans. I realized that a new type of culture had formed in the United States which is called liberalism.

Liberalism some time ago may have even been a clever idea but it has been turned into a mostly un-patriotic group of Americans who want to isolate our military. Instead of supporting disarming Saddam Hussein and other terrorists, the liberals have been attacking our commander-in-chief and dividing our country.

I realized, that it would not help just sitting in an armchair and reviewing all of the news on the computer or on TV. It would not change anything by using political action tools that have already been made by the organizations. It was time to make a major step in citizen involvement and show the Americans the truths of modern liberalism. I wanted to respond to this immoral act of putting a flag up side down on a website that many American view everyday.

I decided that I want to show the country what liberalism really is through my columns. Everything is possible, through heavy research of liberal books, websites etc. everything can be found, I felt a responsibility to reveal all of this to America and stop liberalism spreading.

We know have a powerful well-designed site www.republicanvoices.org and have excellent writers from the Boston area as well as a few from outside.

I would like to inform you that I have not finished the search for writers, after all the mission of this newsletter is to gather up many intellectual Republican/conservative writers together to be heard on this newsletter, the future home of intellectual conservatism. I urge you to send me a political bio and writing sample at editor@republicanvoices.org if you want to become a writer. Even though Republican Voices is Boston-based, please in no way be discouraged on becoming a writer from another state because we equally want you on board as well. Republican Voices can not miss an intellectual voice, we are counting on you!

I urge you to visit www.republicanvoices.org, and subscribe to this newsletter for free by simply entering your e-mail in the subscribe page. You may trust my word that you will not be sorry and you may unsubscribe at anytime.

Here is what some people are saying about Republican Voices:

Glenn Reynolds, "Here’s a young person who's striking back against cloying suburban conformity with a radical new website. Fight the power!"

David Adesnik, "Emil" sent me an e-mail saying that he is an actual 11-year old. I guess I have no reason to doubt it, except for the fact that it is very hard to believe that an 11-year old can write so well.”

Joseph LaFlower, “Wow all this from an articulate 11 year old Republican from Massachusetts. Thank God. You have renewed my faith in the hope that there will still be Republicans and conservatives after '04.”

Geoffrey Allen, “I don't care which party kids like this belong to, our nation will be better for it. He does it on his own, it's not his parents acting through him.”

If you are interested in helping with the site but do not wish to be a writer, we are looking for many other positions. If you wish to be the publicity director, web builder please let me know by e-mailing me at editor@republicanvoices.org , I also welcome your ideas on another position.

Please tell your conservative friends, neighbors and family members about this newsletter. Thanks for reading this and please do visit the site at www.republicanvoices.org

Sincerely, Emil Levitin
