I miss seeing Scotty and Bob Ireland everyday. Not to mention my very first friend, Mike Gallutia (and all my precious friends in Banishland-sniff).
No matter what, it's still home. Maybe someday Drudge will forgive us and re-link.

Rarely post, lurk alot, been here a long time.
The Florida Chapter was an inspiration to all of us. Reading those threads of Gene out on those cloverleafs, posting his signs and getting a PUNCH ON THE FACE from some slack jawed lib spurred us all into action.
I lurked awhile before signing up as well. I am number 3074 March of 1998.
FR has been a huge part of my life ever since, probably way to big a part :)

I found FR during the impeachment days when Drudge had a link up. I had a screen name from Late 1998/Early 1999 but I don't remember it. I drifted away for a couple years after that, but after 9/11 this was the first place I came back to and I've been lurking ever since.
What would FR be without the "dead". :-)
If you try to engage Ash (AshRedux, Ashlives, Ashisalive, Ashisaliar, ect) in debate, you will waste enormous bandwith and get nowhere. When he cannot refute you through misdirection or other obfuscation, he will hide from you. You will find yourself stuck like the Tar Baby in stories of old.
He has been banned many times.
He will, when ignored, strike out. He has claimed to have sent me money and claimed to know me and my wife!
He has shown contempt for the owner of this forum by returning under new names time and again,
he is, IMHO, a disruptor and a distractor.
The BEST policy (based on much advice, that I unfortunately ignored one week) is to act as if he IS NOT HERE.
Even when he responds, he is here as an unwanted - in fact banned - intruder.
Still here. Don't feel like a 'pioneer', but I guess I don't feel middle aged either. ;)
Remembering the glory days, reading about the San Francisco FReep of Clinton where FReepers posted yellow and black sexual predator warning signs all over with Clinton's picture on them...the days of I Believe JuANITA bumperstickers...arguing with the copy company who didn't want to enlarge my jpg of Registered's SoreLoserman sign because it said Registered@aol.com and I'm screaming, "But that's his screenname, not really registered like patents!"
