Colin Quinn actually said "The Left is suppressing our use of language and free speech!"

Posted on 09/28/2004 8:43:10 PM PDT by Minus_The_Bear

I don't know if anybody else watches Tough Crowd but it's a actually pretty balanced. The host Colin Quinn has said numerous times that he's gonna vote for Bush and won't let liberals get away with crap on his show. Sure it's kinda crude sometimes but it's surprising to see somebody on TV who has the same opinions I do (bet he doesn't last too much longer)

I know Quinn was on Remote Control but was Jenny McCarthy on there also? I thought she was on that dating show with the guy that went out with the chick with the Australian accent on Real World. From what I recall Marisol Massey was the babe on Remote control.

"Fundamentalist Liberal", eh? I like it. I and a lot of my conservative friends consider ourselves "Classic Liberals" in the vein of Thomas Jefferson et.al. and have come to resent that the word "liberal" has been hijacked and bastardized by the socialists.

I have long maintained that the American Left is the most 'religious' group I've ever seen.

I guess you just don't understand funny! The Colin Quinn show is dull and not entertaining.

Did you see the show he had on NBC sometime last year?

I told my husband to hurry and watch it because it wasn't going to be on long.

I'm liberal, but I don't oppose guns. I just don't want to be @ war w/Iraq because of a grandiose plan to control the Middle East by starting by establishing a staging point in Iraq.

I think he had three strikes against him just for being a Boy Scout - the times we live in.

Yes. Liberalism has become a code word against everything wholesome that made this the greatest country ever. Liberalism would declare it a 'hate crime" for boy scouts who would not allow homosexuals to sleep in their tents. (BTW, how many homosexuals have molested boy scouts?) They believe in moral relativism--anything which would destroy the Christian foundation which formed this country.

I like the fundamentalist part, but these guys aren't real liberals, they are hardcore leftists.

Now left wing fundamentalists, has a more accurate ring to it.

I just got the chills even saying it.

How about self defense? Are you against self defense? Would you rather the battle be on our streets instead?

We are not at war with Iraq. We are in a war within Iraq against those attempting to prevent the majority of citizens of that country from forming a democratically elected government.

We're not looking to control it, Marski. Nobody can "control" the loony tunes in that part of the world. But we did right to give them a fighting chance of wresting their own country back from the Ba'athist thugs and keeping it away from the mullah-wanna-be's.

isn't colin quinn the guy who used to be on saturday nite live who gave the impassioned plea to the american tv-viewing public that bill clinton shouldn't be impeached?
if this is the same guy, he seems to have evolved/matured.
