Talk about something making you sick to your stomach!

But I want to know something. Where is our Republican Leadership on this? This is really starting to annoy me. Yeah, there are some people with good intentions, but good intentions don't get you anywhere if you don't have the sack to do something with those intentions! On several of these false rumors spread by the dims, I've heard people ask why President Bush hasn't went to the MSM and attacked these rumors? I'm asking, where are our Republican Leaders in the House and Senate and why aren't they attacking these things? Why should Bush have to go out there and dispel all of this crap? Where are they? Are they on the same freakin' team or not?? If the dims are sponsoring both of these bills then they should come out like a pack of wolves with the paperwork and shove it into the camera! They should stick it in front of the camera and RIP out some demorat throat for rumors they themselves are creating! Anyone of those guys/gals could call a press conference at anytime, and I'm waiting to somebody to grow a set of rocks and do it! This is an election year and they should be defending this President right and left! President Bush has a lot going on right now and he shouldn't always be left to do the dirty work! They're part of this party as well and defending it is their JOB as well, not just Bush! President Bush has remain rock solid through a lot of personal and political attacks, and people respect him for standing tough and not wavering when confronted with these things. The rest of the team in Washington should take the hint! Grow some stones, stand up and fight, don't be pushed around and people will respect and admire you for it. They're part of the same team and they need to get out of the locker room and onto the field! K, I'm done with my rant.

The plain facts are these...Republicans have always had to go over the heads of the media to talk to the public. Remember Reagan? While Bill Clinton contaminated our TV's with announcements about ingrown toe nails--the MSM wouldn't touch the Monica story until Drudge broke it-- Bush couldn't even get coverage for a major policy speech at AEI on the eve of going to war!

FreeRepublic exists because this has been the unchallenged status quo until the age of the internet. You and I are the troops!! Get out there, make some noise.

Like a stopped clock--Algore was actually right on one occasion when he talked about the "echo chamber" and the "zeitgeist". How else will the GOP get the message out? Al just forgot to mention the their side has the media bullhorns trying to drown us out.

This "man on the street" thing is so old it is getting worn out. Another example can be found at NPR with their interviews with "undecided swing voters" who only donate to democrats.
