Kerry's cancer surgery
http://www.usrf.org/news/john_kerry.html ^

There doesn't seem to be any current information "out there" as to how the Senator is after 19 months post cancer surgery. I post these links to refresh Freepers minds about the prostate cancer surgery and surrounding issues. It may seem like a lot to read but I think it is a fair question today. How close would we be to swearing in, uh, what's his name.......um....Edwards,.....yes, that's it, another John.

I noticed what Kerry didn't say about the upcoming (Feb, 2001) surgery more than what he did say. I see no, nada, zip, zilch about his supposed faith in God that he would recover. This to me, is very telling. I'd sure expect anyone "of faith" would mention it in relation to a life threatening condition. But that's just me.

Many more articles about the surgery exist on the I-net. Just Google to "Kerry cancer surgery" if you want to read more. Please know that I don't wish cancer on anyone. It's just that in this case it could be very important.

Sorry, I don't know how to post active links. If someone would tell me where I can find instructions I'd appreciate it.

I have always thought that all the windsurfing pictures, football photos, soccer pics, and snowboarding posts have been a calculated attempt to make him look healthy and to deflect any questions about his health.

Notwithstanding the fact that Kerry seems to have to disappear for a "break" every couple of weeks. He's looking like hell lately because the schedule hasn't allowed him to slip away and rest. Not much stamina for the leader of the free world, eh?

Kind of like they did with JFK. I have had cancer for two years now, and its my understanding it doesn't really go away it just goes into remission. At least my kind can come back years later.

THe issue that no one has raised is that a frequent concommitant of prostate cancer is permanent impotence. The surgery often results in irreparable damage to the nerves in that area. That's why so many prostate cancer sufferers opt for non-surgical interventions. But these result in total hair loss, which clearly did not afflict Kerry, so apparently he chose the surgical route. Interesting. . .

AWC Kerry's cancer is in his soul. There's no surgical cure for that.

The health of a possible future commander in chief seems very much part of the facts one would logically consider when deciding to vote for him. Why wouldn't it be ??

Like so much of Kerry's agenda, we little people are just 'suposed to take his word for it.

This man is running to become the President of the United States during a time of war. We need to know whether he is healthy enough to do the job. Is the cancer likely to come roaring back or not, are there other health problems. These are important questions, that we as a country have a right to know before we vote in November (even though John is going to lose).

The fact that the press has not pursued this is more than just bias it is a disgrace. This is more than a political game we are at war a sick or weakened commander in chief would be a disaster.

Exactly. Kerry's health is important because it means that John Edwards could be running this country, perish the thought. Certainly, Cheney's health has never been off the table in terms of discussion by the media and the public.

I happen to know a little bit on this subject.

Sen. Kerry and I happen to have had this surgery on the very same day.

My doctor told me that I should be good for another 30 years, but they do test my PSA count every 6 months. So far it's below detectable levels.

Unless Sen. Kerry's surgery was a failure this is not an issue.

Why in the world did you post that link to starcats? The owner of that site is psychotically anti-Bush and uses astrology to "prove" that he's a maniac whose "bloodlust" will wreck the USA. You can read her garbled version of events at http://starcats.com/newsmakers.html
