This was from the free side of Rush's site, so I figured it was ok to post it here.

This woman was livid. You could hear the anger in her voice. She heard Kerry say he voted against supplying the troops in Iraq as a "protest vote", and drew the correlation that it was EXACTLY what he did in Viet Nam.

In Viet Nam Kerry came home and "protested" the war by pulling the rug out from under our service men still back in Viet Nam, and quite possibly causing some of them to die by emboldening the enemy.

This year Kerry "protested" the Iraq war by trying to pull necessary supplies away from our troops still fighting the war in Iraq.

Once a traitor always a traitor. It's in his blood, his heart, his mind. That people would even consider voting for such a disloyal opportunist disgusts me.

Now that's a Mom. Expects her son to do his duty but will tear apart anyone who puts him needlessly at risk.

John Kerry will say anything and do anything to get power.

He's got to protest every so often, that's just in his nature, kind of like "doing his duty." Every so often he has to attack the USA, that's just a tradition with Kerry. Some people want that sort of President?

Amazing, the idiot was negotiating surrender with North Vietnam, yet he became a Senator??? It will be quite a relief when his campaign meets the same fate as Dan Rather's career.

I heard this call. The woman had it right. Kerry said he voted against funding the military as a PROTEST.

She spoke so eloquently it brought a lump to my throat.

Listing all the weapon systems that Senator Kerry tried his best to shut down sounds like an auctioneer selling off our national security but Americans need to know the facts.

The B-1 bomber, that Senator Kerry opposed, dropped 40% of the bombs in the first six months of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The B-2 bomber, that Senator Kerry opposed, delivered air strikes against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Hussein's command post in Iraq.

The F-14A Tomcats, that Senator Kerry opposed, shot down Khadifi's Libyan MIGs over the Gulf of Sidra. The modernized F-14D, that Senator Kerry opposed, delivered missile strikes against Tora Bora.

The Apache helicopter, that Senator Kerry opposed, took out those Republican Guard tanks in Kuwait in the Gulf War. The F-15 Eagles, that Senator Kerry opposed, flew cover over our Nation's Capital and this very city after 9/11.

I could go on and on and on: Against the Patriot Missile that shot down Saddam Hussein's scud missiles over Israel, Against the Aegis air-defense cruiser, Against the Strategic Defense Initiative, Against the Trident missile, against, against, against.

This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces?

U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs?

Sen. Zell Miller

some smart Swift Boat person could run an add with this women's voice, the voice of a POW wife and say, "Some things and some people never change. John Kerry always against the poor working man who is defending our country.

I heard this live yesterday and you could certainly feel the outrage and betrayal she felt. I also thought, as a veteran myself, that she articulated very well just what Sen. Kerry's "protest" vote amounted to.
