They didn't cure his ColoioOral cancer. $h!t keeps running from his mouth.
This piece is very dishonest since it makes no mention of John Kerry refusing to release his medical records.
I would have thought shrapnel moving at a speed fast enough to penetrate the skin too deep to be removed would have resulted in a wound requiring more than a band-aid to treat. Perhaps stitches with a day out to prevent infection. Perhaps not.
I just saw a Kerry bloviation on Fox, and he looked like he was a zombie. The healthy orange glow was gone, he had huge bags under his eyes, and he had a large and really nasty looking black mark on his right cheek. For his sake, I hope it was dirt.
Isn't chronic lying a disease? Well--but it isn't relevant to being the president for a dem.
Never, ever try to check your own prostate.
Don't you just hate it when you have to scrutinize every word they say to get at the truth. I start asking myself about the doctor and what his political stance is and motivations, and the same with the reporters and everyone else mentioned in the story.
I guess that is what it has become for me; I don't trust anything from the liberals and haven't for many years.
Thanks to all here who bring to light their half truths and their "misleading" statements!!!
No matter the paid for botox, collagen, fake tan, and windsurfing, the man looks half dead ALL the time.
Did they find any rice in his ice?????
drudge has--cancer free; HIV-....
what is this about HIV???
Mr. Kerry's doctors said they had told him that he was cured. They based their optimism on an array of tests and concluded that he had a less than 3 percent chance of a recurrence in the next nine years. Even if the cancer came back, it could be treated without seriously interfering with presidential duties, Mr. Kerry's doctors and experts said.
Not so fast my dad was told the same thing, three years after his surgery he had to have radiation treatments and while it was not life threatening it did make him ill for weeks afterward.
The MSM can print anything they want about Kerry's health and his Vietnam service records. Until Kerry releases all his medical records and all his military service records, the public really knows nothing of importance about either.
Does anyone know if it is necessary to take any sort of medication after prostate surgery?
So why doesn't he just RELEASE HIS MEDICAL RECORDS?
Let's see it and have independent doctors evaluate it.
No prostate gland at all anymore, hm? That must make things interesting with Terayza at bedtime. I still want to know if he's impotent or has some bizarre sexual side-effects from the surgery. Even those supposedly nerve-sparing procedures often have some unfortunate consequences for the prostate-CA patient.
The author Douglas Brinkley wrote in "Tour of Duty," his account of Mr. Kerry's Navy service, that the young officer injured his arm and suffered "a slight concussion" when he was thrown against the bulkhead of a Swift boat. Mr. Kerry said that he hit his head but that in using the word concussion with the writer he meant "the concussion of the explosion" and never said he had "a cerebral concussion" because that diagnosis "is not in my medical records."
Also:
A group of veterans has challenged the validity of the three Purple Hearts that Mr. Kerry received for wounds he suffered while serving on Swift boats in the Vietnam war. These critics suggested that the shrapnel that hit him in one mission was rice, not metal.
Outrageous lie!
The Swiftees said he was hit by a grenade fragment AND rice when he & Rassman blew the rice bunker, using Kerry's own words; and only disputed his claim that he was hit by sharpnel LATER, when the mine went off under the other boat, on the other side of the river.
"One piece of shrapnel is about the size of a bullet, the other a bit smaller," Dr. Doyle said.
Talk about a "loaded" term, in an anti-gun state!
WE know what a 'bullet' is, BUT most of this rag's readers can be counted upon to equate 'bullet' with 'cartridge', without even getting into such specifics as a 17 gr .22; or a 405 gr 45-70.
Adding together all the ailments listed in this puff piece, Jean-Pierre is one sick metrosexual!
If we know his procedure, the next question is what was the grading of his cancer and did it penetrate or approach the wall of the prostate?
Also, as others have pointed out, we do not have copies of the actual medical records. We do have an endorsement and testimonial from his physicians. I also note Tsongas had the same but died in four years of a different type (lymphoma?)of cancer. Bob Dole had a five year cancer free after his radical prostatectomy.
If their facts are correct, there is no reason to conceal his medical records. Such a mystery dogged President Clinton. An additional Senator Kerry mystery is the tax returns of his wife. She is the 389th richest person in the US and enquiring minds would like to know how she has dealt with her taxes and what corporations, entities and charities she has supported.
Besides the mystery of what is his current position on almost anything, we still have health and financial mysteries that the MSM seems nonchalant about.
Mr. Kerry said, "I can't tell you I really feel it," but "it's back in here somewhere," as he slapped his thigh.
As a radiologist, my B.S. meter is going off on this one.
I don't care what "Kerry's personal physician" has to say about this CT scan. I want to read the radiologist's report.
Several things sound fishy.
1. CT scans take "slices" only through the area of interest. You don't expose the patient to needless radiation by scanning from head to toe. For a prostate cancer patient, the pelvic CT would extend only to the very top of the "thigh". Where, exactly is this alleged shrapnel?
2. I find it hard to believe that someone could sustain a wound from a shrapnel fragment "the size of a bullet" and only miss one day of duty?
3. Why is "Kerry's personal physician" reading the CT scan for the reporter instead of a radiologist?
Look at the CT below:
Is that a shrapnel fragment in the thigh next to the femur? No. It is Calcific Tendinits of the gluteus maximus tendon. ?
4. The CBS fraud has show how news media reporters and their so-called "expert" can vouch for anything. I want to see these CT images posted on the Internet so that third parties can see this alleged "shrapnel the size of a bullet". Better yet, I want to see the images of the plain films posted on the Internet.
Where did the shrapnel come from? Exploding hair dryer? Sitting on a cuticle tool?
