"Kerry's World" Letters to the Editor (Vanity)

Letter to the Editor:

It appears that when it comes to the Michael Moore wing of the Democratic Party, the "moral equivalency" argument never goes out of style. In the debate Thursday night, Kerry's voice actually rose with outrage when he uttered the following left wing mantra.

"Right now the president is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to research bunker-busting nuclear weapons. The United States is pursuing a new set of nuclear weapons. It doesn't make sense...Not this president. I'm going to shut that program down, and we're going to make it clear to the world we're serious about containing nuclear proliferation."

In Kerry's world, America is no better than North Korea, or Iran, and we should therefore hold ourselves to the exact same standard the world has set for brutal aggressive dictatorships and rogue regimes.

In Kerry's world, If America was forced to fight back against the nuclear attack of a madman in North Korea, our military might not have a weapon that could penetrate deep underground command and control bunkers.

I pray, we never have to live in Kerry's world.

Sincerely, NavVet

The best defense is a good offense. Kerry said some things in the debate that by themselves prove he is unfit for command. "Global Test" "Give Uranium to Iran" "Kill another important U.S. Weapons System"

Instead of whining about the fact that the MSM is ignoring Kerry's words in favor of his delivery, we need to get the word out. I encourage all Freepers to write letters to the editor on these topics. Feel free to plagarize the my letter that I sent to the NY Times today.

This was the one response Kerry made that actually sounded like it was genuine and not rehearsed. I couldn't believe it! He said that it wasn't fair that we develope nuclear weapons and yet come down on Libya, North Korea, Iran , and others for developing them. I yelled at my TV, "We aren't FANATICS!" That's the difference! These countries have shown a willingness to use what ever forms of brutality they can muster.

What a French woosy belief, "That's not fairrrr." Is that going to be the response we give after taking our 'global test' handed down by the UN. "You can't have bigger guns than they do because it wouldn't be fair. We all must fight equal now!" Who said terrorist were fair!

I wish the President had said: "Well, my opponent never met a weapons system he didn't want to kill. Why would this one be any different?"
