WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Responding to the latest desperate and false Bush ad "Global Ties," the Kerry-Edwards campaign Saturday launched the new ad "He's Lost, He's Desperate."

The ad notes that not only is George Bush misleading about what John Kerry said in the debate, but Sunday's New York Times reports that he misled the American public about intelligence information in his rush to war in Iraq.

"He's Lost, He's Desperate" will set the record straight in the same markets the Bush campaign airs its misleading ad.

The ad will be available at http://www.johnkerry.com/video/100304_lost_ desperate.html

Good grief! How pathetic! But typical of Johnnie boy. Always trying to puff up his accomplishments and ego and always making up stories. He's a narcissistic idiot.

I believe this is the first time EVER that a candidate for President has called the President of the United States a liar in a TV ad. Talk about desperation!!!

Kerry and the Moveon.org crowd have spent more than $300 million trying to convince America that George Bush is a liar, and it hasn't worked. It's hilarious that Kerry is now wasting what few dollars he has left on more of the same. Worst campaign ever.

Just the facts:
LEHRER: New question. Two minutes, Senator Kerry.

What is your position on the whole concept of preemptive war?

KERRY: The president always has the right, and always has had the right, for preemptive strike. That was a great doctrine throughout the Cold War. And it was always one of the things we argued about with respect to arms control.

No president, though all of American history, has ever ceded, and nor would I, the right to preempt in any way necessary to protect the United States of America.

But if and when you do it, Jim, you have to do it in a way that passes the test, that passes the global test where your countrymen, your people understand fully why you're doing what you're doing and you can prove to the world that you did it for legitimate reasons.

Hmmm. What am I missing? I could have sworn I heard him say these exact words.

-- The Bush Campaign Released a Misleading Ad Claiming John Kerry Would Not Defend America. Days after George Bush's dramatic loss in the first debate, the Bush-Cheney released a misleading ad that claimed that John Kerry would not defend America against terror threats: "The Kerry doctrine: A global test. So we must seek permission from foreign governments before protecting America? A global test? So America will be forced to wait while threats gather? President Bush believes decisions about protecting America should be made in the Oval Office, not foreign capitals." (Bush-Cheney '04 Ad: "Global Test," 10/2/04)

Narrator: "This is what you heard John Kerry really say:

What follows is damage control. Kerry recaps a few of his points but doesn't address his crippling "global test" qualifier for whatever pre-emptive action he might take as President. This is the issue and Kerry is damaged by the global test and he knows it.

Team Bush will hit and hit and hit that "global test" kidney from here until November. LOL

In the debate, Kerry said he never said Bush "lied". I guess he just approves commercials that say he did.

Just who are the Dems trying to convince? themselves? LOL! What a stupid ad.
If I think Bush won the debate, the Dems aren't going to convince my otherwize just because they say so.

Bush didn't really "win" the debate, Kerry lost it. That may sound a little wierd, but Kerry didn't convince anyone that he had any good points, he just flip flopped and contradicted himself. Bush just let him debate himself. He basicly said Bush was wrong and he was right, and if Bush was going to do something this way, he was going to do it the other way, and if Bush was going to do it the other way, he was going to do it this way.
And, he fought in Vietnam (for 4 months) and knew all there is to know about war, and all wars are like Veitnam.
So, he basicly said he was going to cut and run, like he did in Vietnam, by getting 3 fake purple hearts and running home to mama.

So easy for the Bush campaign to counter all they have to do is play back where Kerry claimed he never said Bush lied.

An easy 30 second spot with a little color commentary from GWB would work nicely.

This debate "Win" for Kerry really left the Bush campaign with a lot of ammunition I think.

Maybe that was the "strategery" Why Bush didn't counter so strongly.

Kerry is trying to plug the dyke on the swing voters while energizing his base in the hopes of keeping the election close enough to let his phony ballots and lawyers loose. It's all he's got so it makes a lot of sense.

A lot of people (myself included) have thought aboy how nasty the Dhimmicrats will be when they lose.

Now we can see that they will be even more nasty if they win.

I strongly suspect that Kerry would try to have Pres. Bush and Cheny handed over to the ICC for prosecution if he won.

Every gun owner would face a potential "domestic terrorism" charge.

Every major company would be shaken down for "contributions" and jobs for Dem fat-cats.

In short, we would be forced into a one-party state where the left of center "consensus" on social issues and pacifism would be violently forced down our throats, just as it is in Canuckistan and the pEU.
