I am just sick about this.....

I know this issue has been addressed before, but I live out in the country, in South Central Ohio... in a nice, friendly community, and didn't think it would happen to me.

I had two signs in my yard. One was a Bush/Cheney sign that the national campaign distributes. The other one, was a "Ross Country for Bush", which I paid for myself. Both were stolen last night.

I am just livid.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Mine was ripped and defaced, and the neighbor's was torn down. A*holes.

I feel like nailing a new one to the fence, and sitting behind the fence all night with a flashlight and firearm. But I won't.

If it'll make you feel any better, I knocked over a "Kerry/Edwards for a strong America" sign today in my truck.

That particular sign really makes me see red. What total idiots!

The other night we woke up and looked outside, in place of my Bush/Cheney sign was a Kerry/Edwards sign!!! you can imagine my thoughts! utter shock! When we went out side to investigate we noticed my neighbor who is a Kerry/Edwards supporter, had our signs! Some prankster had switched them for a real funny joke! We then had a good laugh and got them switched back to their rightful owners.

Same here. But I do have this overwhelming desire to get a bunch of letter 'A's printed on crack-n'-peel and, at the bottom of their signs where it says "FOR A STRONGER AMERICA" cover up the 'O' in STRONGER with an 'A'.

Being you live in the country, I would suggest a liberal coating of FRESH chicken manure on the backside of the signs will make an impression on the culprits.
