Please call the Commission on Presidential Debates.
They were in charge of running the debate and seeing the rules were enforced. I called them this morning and urged them to investigate.
Their website is www.debates.org can't find an email there but they have a letter pdf to the campaigns with their address

I am not saying that Kerry wouldn't have beaten Bush anyway. I'm not even suggesting that Kerry actually cheated. I am saying that their excuse that it was only a pen is lame by proving that pens can be used for cheating too.

If the proof exists, please present it, otherwise, we look like kooks. There's numerous photos posted showing what appears to be white paper or cards.
As for the mesage pen, you're right, that's kooky.

I still say a small one line scrolling text pager makes the most sense - and yes, they do come in white ("ice" color is what Motorola calls it). Kerry has a war room up during the debate, they text page him with points to make during the debate. the talking points scroll by.

That's how this thing works accept that he could request specific information simply by writing it.

Paper, pen, it's never been an issue with me.
I just think, "That's an interesting little device."

I have one - bought my husband, his brother and my brother one at Christmas LAST year -- from Comp USA (doesn't look like this one, though).
Still...meaning if WE could have one...certainly a man of his STATURE could.
