The problem is that this escalates things.
No, it is SAUCE FOR THE GOOSE.
Guaranteed next election a liberal broadcast group will do the same thing with a program much less truthful.
Oh, for the love of Pete. What do you think NBC, ABC, PBS, CBS (specifically Comrade Dan Rather/60 Minutes) et. al. have been doing for YEARS?
Moreover this is an attack that is not related to issues but is personal against a presidential candidate's character and activities.
A documentary about Kerrys' past activities is not a "personal attack", and while you may not consider his past activities to be relevant, many others do. The American public has a right to know what type of person John Kerry is, and Sinclair is doing a public service by airing ths documentary.

You saw the DU response too? I was over there waiting to see their reaction to the Rasmussen numbers...they've been ignoring that one...but they are crying all kinds of unfair and other touchy-feely crap about this film.
Pop some corn and watch the show folks!! :)

Are they supposed to buy airtime from themselves?
As many point out, most of the TV stations have been engaging in nonstop Bush bashing for the past year and a half, and have you forgotten the CBS special with Dan Rather, based on fake memos attacking Bush's character?
And now you are whining, because someone dares to air a special, at their own expense, on their own stations, which shows the truth about Kerry?!

Good for Sinclair. I hammered one of their CBS affiliated stations, and made sure to send a copy to the owner, Sinclair.

So it's OK for the media, i.e. ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC and CNN
to run false stories about Bush
BUT not OK for the real truth to be told about Kerry?
Kerry is traitor, Bush is not.
Let the truth be told!

Yes. Although I doubt they could get any more mileage out of it then they did just prior to the 2000 election, when the news media filled the airwaves with reports about W.'s 1976 OUIL charge. Personally, I don't quite think that Kerry's anti-war activities and lies ("they cut off heads..") quite compares with W.'s boozing.

Politics is what it is. Last time they sprung a DUI on us. The LA Times attempted to derail Arnold in the same manner the last weekend.
In a fair and even world would I approve this? Perhaps not. Though they are well within their rights to do whatever they like with their stations.
Since Moore is in talks to make F/9-11 available on election eve, since the MSM is in the tank for Kerry, I'm not interested in staying 'above the fray'.
This is a political 'war' for the heart and soul AND safety of our country. The documentary is true, something Moore cannot claim. It isn't a question of if the tables were reversed, would we like this. The fact is the table stands to have F/9-11 air the night before the election with the MSM having free reign to control what is aired that night in news and entertainment. It IS being done to us. We fight back or we let them dictate the discussion.
Well done to Sinclair, I only wish he had more stations.

See, I am a "war criminal"
Kerry said so in his own words.
John Kerry and War Crimes in Vietnam
He was in command of a Swift Boat
and ordered his men to do these things.
Listen to this 1971 audio clip in Kerry's own words.

I am not questioning your service or your patriotism. I thank you for that.
What makes me uneasy is the tit-for-tat that is going on. I think there comes a time when you take the moral high road, rest on your message, and let that speak for itself. This applies to both sides.

I just thought we were above these kinds of things. The fact is, the truth about Kerry's service should have been addressed long ago. Stolen Valor should have been aired long ago. It just feels like a cheap shot. Something that CBS would do.

Are you advocating that the Republicans should just gently and quietly lie down and let the Dems cheat, lie, commit voter fraud and WIN?
