A documentary about Kerrys' past activities is not a "personal attack", and while you may not consider his past activities to be relevant, many others do. The American public has a right to know what type of person John Kerry is, and Sinclair is doing a public service by airing ths documentary. What if someone wants to play a documentary about President Bush's drinking days? Is that ok also?

Yes. Although I doubt they could get any more mileage out of it then they did just prior to the 2000 election, when the news media filled the airwaves with reports about W.'s 1976 OUIL charge. Personally, I don't quite think that Kerry's anti-war activities and lies ("they cut off heads..") quite compares with W.'s boozing.

What if someone wants to play a documentary about President Bush's drinking days? Is that ok also? Fine! I'm sure more Americans can identify with Bush's drinking days..... than they can with Kerry's smearing and maligning our soldiers as war criminals while meeting with the Communist enemy while we were still at war.
Let the Dems bring up Bush's drinking days. LOL

"What if someone wants to play a documentary about President Bush's drinking days? Is that ok also?"Watch Stolen Honor, and if you think anything that could possibly be said about "Bush's drinking days" could possibly measure up to the damage sKerry has done to these people's lives, not to mention the families of those who died because of the inspiration he gave the enemy when they were disheartened and considering surrender, then I would have to question your judgment.

What if someone wants to play a documentary about President Bush's drinking days? Is that ok also? They tried 4 years ago and no one cared. Also, GWB hasn't made sobriety THE central issue in his campaign.

Sure is. The difference is that Bush has turned away from that habbit, and Kerry has not turned form the being the opportunist that he is.

Bush hasn't made his getting drunk a major part of his campaign.
