How can you tell when Kerry is lying?
His lips are moving.

Great article. It is the BIG LIE. In fact, the research shows far greater success with adult stem cells and many problems with embryonic stem cells.

The stem cell lie is just another lie in the culture of death handbook -- from abortion, to euthanasia, so-called selective reduction in fertility clinics -- it's all part of the selfish mantra of man that he/she has the right to be happy irrespective of the costs.

They also need to ask Lurch, "Whats wrong with adult stem cell research?" if we are going to fund any research in this area it should be with adult cells since for starters there will be no rejection factors to deal with, and current research seems to indicate that adult cells are much more adaptable then previously thought. Its the liberal bias for abortion that compels them to push killing embryos.

If embryonic stem cells were so promising, there would be lots of biotech companies pursuing this research as the potential rewards would be HUGE. But alas, little research is happening since there is little promise of these "around the corner cures". Follow the money...

I was VERY glad to hear the stem cell question asked in the debate last time. First time I've heard anything in the MSM about the difference between embryonic and adult stem cells, both in terms of hype vs. reality, and the tremendous difference in the cost of human life.

Pres. Bush continues to disappoint me in not articulating this important distinction, though I appreciate his support in the actual decisions. I think Bush treads lightly on abortion and other life issues. And, obviously, he has a much better political sense than I do of what the public is ready for.

Anyway, I'm very glad a lot of people heard about this last night.

My 13 year old son has Type 1 diabetes. Having a chronically ill child has, if anything, increased my belief in the sanctity of human life. Unfortunately, the major diabetes charities have been taken over by the embryo research fanatics. The focus on embryonic stem cells is tragically diverting attention and money from other areas of research -- like adult stem cell therapies -- that are far more promising and do not destroy life.

Did anyone catch what Kerry said about the existing cells that are being used now are contaminated with mouse feces? I can't believe that. How did that happen and IF true, why would they still be being used for research? Labs just don't let that happen.

Kerry is a pathological LIAR who will do and say anything to get elected. God help us if this pathetic excuse of a "man" ascends to the presidency. We are all in trouble!
