I quit taking that commie rag months ago after years of subscribing. Cynthia Tucker and Mike Luckovich make me want to vomit. They had the gall to call me and ask why I quit.

Wait a minute. Kerry can stump for votes, black votes, in a church, but the fedsd gets called in when churches 'tell' congregations who to vote for? How F-d up is that?

There are no shades of gray to an Islamofacist only blood-red. Your blood or theirs. I'm for them shedding the blood and I don't give a damn how many pinko liberals that irritates. As a matter of fact it pleases me to no end to piss-off a liberal.

"....we will have to confront growing foreign competition for jobs, a widening gap between what we import and export, a crippling dependence on foreign oil and a soaring deficit right before the baby boom generation begins to retire."

All problems created by Democrat energy, education, taxation policies.....thanks a lot Dimbulbs!!

I believe it to be a splendid editorial (I rarely read editorials, btw). By the way, there nothing liberal about a "liberal".

The AJC is a leftist/statist DNC supporting RAG.

This puff piece for Kerry has Sinthia Tucker's fingerprints all over it.

The GOOD NEWS is that an AJC endorsement is usually a kiss of death.

If the real world is a place of leisure, luxery and snobbery, where days are filled with wind surfing, skeet shooting, bicycle riding, motorcycle riding, skiing, snow boarding, basking by the pool, passing a football around, tossing base balls around, playing hand ball, paddle ball, polo and jetting around the world in a private jet to exotic resorts, then Kerry fits right into the real world.

Now, shall we discuss how well he fits into the normal world ?

The AJC is a liberal rag...I no longer take the paper anymore-lots of conservatives don't. They offered it to me for 34 dollar for six months...they just want to keep a certain level in order to keep up advertising revenue. There used to be two papers a conservative afternoon paper and a liberal morning paper. The liberal paper was a rag and was losing subscription so being liberals they got rid of the conservative paper (which could have made them money) and kept the liberal paper. Naturally they are losing subscriptions like crazy...completely out of step with Georgia.

"In the real world, nobody reads the AJC."

Unfortunately you are not that incorrect. There are a few academics who like the liberal slant and love to read their own and their peers' missives but the mass audience only wants the TV listings, coupons, and local metro stories.

You are right - they cannot give their subscriptions away - My favorite is when I walk into grocery stores and they stop me and try to get me to subscribe...

I tell them in no uncertain terms why I canceled my subscription YEARS ago and wouldn't let them throw their paper in my yard if THEY PAID ME!!!!
