I saw full closeup footage from the front on FOX. It *was* a pen.

If the 'rats are saying that Bush was wired, it's more likely that Kerry was wired. Preemption for when they get caught.

It has been my understanding that "misinformation" is used regarding the President, as well as Kerry and other people with Secret Service protection.

Bush was wearing a bulletproof vest.

Were did you read that? It's just as dishonest for our side to lie.

Where did you read he wasn't wearing one? And what do you believe made the rectangle bulge on the back of his coat? It appeared to be a fairly clear pattern of something.

Maybe someone can post the photo in question.

W was wearing a bulletproof vest when he threw out the first pitch at the Yankee game. Probably wears it all the time in mass gatherings.

From the side/back that's been shown & analyzed, it looks like it could be a pack of smokes, a PDA, a stack of note cards. I think that there was an odd reflection that showed up an the footage from angle. From the front it was clearly a slim black pen & the footage was shown in slowish motion.

It seems to me that whether Bush was wearing body armor or not is a matter of national security. I would expect it to be denied, otherwise why don't we just instruct some waco with a gun to aim for his head!

And you read this where? You shouldn't comment on a story until you know the facts. The facts are NOT as you state them.

Well, can you clear this up for us all? We are waiting for your sage advice with baited breath.

If Bush was wired for the first debate it certainly didn't help him in any way. :o)

Just imagine...cellphones are the size of cigarette packs and Bush has to have a receiver the size of an unabriged dictionary. Do you suppose it used vacuum tubes???

Anyone wearing a wire will not wear the reciever in the center of his back...there a million better places to conceal it.

Further, the micro transcievers avaialable to Bush are smaller than credit cards...they are not large

Not only that, but if he was "wired" the receiver would have been placed where it would not be seen or caused such an obvious bulge... at the base of his back on his belt.
