I'm sure the tears are flowing and the broken hearts abounding as the Wash Compost sees their true love drifting downriver on a swiftboat to nowhere.

This reminds me of the joke about the guy who walks up to the White House gate over and over in February 2001. I know, but I just like to hear you say it again.

Folks there was an earlier post on the Reuter/Zogby internals yanked off, but if true, let me give you a feeling as to what's going on in the colleges across our soil...
Women-54 this one smells and singles-73?? That's pretty high numbers for sKerry...that's scary! The college students % scare. My son who is a college senior has been telling me that sKerry has a big advantage in that circle! He also told me that he was disappointed that W didn't nip the DRAFT lie in the butt. He was saying the majority of political talk there is about the draft and how that has influence them to vote for sKerry. WE WARNED W's campaign about this the very first time it made it's rounds through the Internet! It spread like wild fire in the college campuses!</p>And don't fool yourselves those KIDS are motivated to go out and VOTE! I think we are all going to be shocked at the 18-20+ voter turn out that day!! WE MUST WORK HARDER FOR W....AT ALL COST WE MUST WIN THIS ELECTION!
To: RoseofTexas
Our President DID nip this one in the butt! He said, plainly and in small enough words for even sKerry supporters to understand, that there will BE NO DRAFT as long as he is president. Anyone who isn't standing with their fingers in their ears singing "Na-na-na, I can't hear you" WILL be able to hear that and understand it.

Having just graduated college, I can tell you most college students are too drunk or stupid to know what day it is, let alone vote.

the liberal MSM really doesn't want the Traitor to win...they want the wide load from NY to run in '08...of course the nag has to win in '06 first and Rudy might have something to say about that...IMHO

Anyone who isn't standing with their fingers in their ears singing "Na-na-na, I can't hear you" WILL be able to hear that and understand it.What GWB failed to state, however, was WHERE that rumor/scare tactic came from! He should have stated as clearly as anything else on Friday night that this whole business of the DRAFT was put out there as a SCARE TACTIC by the demonrats to achieve the VERY thing it was intended to do...to get out the 18-22 year old vote, which they were calculating would go heavily for sKerry. Sounds like it's having the desired effect. What's sad about it, is that MOST 18-22 year olds could probably care less about who is POTUS; they're probably just as ignorant of the full spectrum of voter issues, the candidates' positions, and how all of it will affect their lives in the long-run. But, the sKerry campaign doesn't care about any of that. All they care about is "scaring" folks to the polls. And, of course, the sheeple fall for it election after election. Arrgggghhhh!

18-20 yearolds will be where they always are on election day.
Taking the day off. So Kerry has a big advantage on them, what's new?
When you're young and know everything, you're young and know everything.
How many of those gung ho friends of your son are actually registered? The Dems have pushed for years the "young" vote, it's NEVER made a difference and it won't this year either.

I'll tell you what really honks me about 18 year-olds getting to vote. That wasn't the case when I was 18. I was not permitted to vote until I was 21, and I haven't missed an election since then.
The way the 18 year-old deal was justified was on the grounds that if a man was old enought to die for his country (there WAS a draft then), he was old enough to vote. (I never understood why they let 18 year old girls vote because of this argument).
Anyway, now there is no draft, yet these young skulls full of mush are still permitted to vote even though they now have no obligation to risk their lives in service.
