Hollwood's 'golden couple' are going through a rough patch, and Pitt's closeness to Angelina Jolie is reported to be the cause.
On September 10, Pitt attended an 'I hate George W. Bush' fundraiser without his wife, and has also been spotted dining alone at local restaurants.
Friends of the couple have expressed concern over the amount of time Pitt and Aniston have spent apart. The couple have appeared together in public once in the last two months --at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Spetember 19.
Pitt, 40, has reportedly grown close to the 29 year old 'Tomb Raider' star Jolie on the set of their upcoming spy thriller 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' earlier this year.
So friendly that in May, Pitt's press agent had to publicly deny the relationship.
The two were recently reunited when they re shot the opening sequence of the film in September and stayed in connecting hotel rooms.

If I were Brad Pitt I would make her have an AIDS test before I even attempted to do anything with that woman. She just gave an interview that she sees her male friends quite often just to have sex. She's not exactly clean - but who in hollywierd is. Also that woman is OLDER THAN 29. She is in her thirties.
