Okay boys and girls here is your chance to dance and make your presence known!

Operation: Luau - Because we're going to roast that pig.

We are working with the Portland, Vancouver and Salem chapters of Protest Warriors. We have about 20 committed and 15 to 20 tentative, including some from Seattle, all over Oregon and California!

We have some recently retired National Guard that are rounding up some current members who hope to come.

We are contacting local media and hope to generate coverage so numbers are important!

We will have a few video cameras ourselves and digital cameras.

We are gathering more information on the exact situation, where we will be and such. Any new info will be posted here and I will those who show interest.

If you can, bring a sign or flag, also some are going to be wearing white shirt with messages to Moore.

I will be driving straight from work and should be there between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Those who plan to attend may be able to work out a carpool and I may be able to drive 5 down in my '01 Chrysler Town & Country. For that to work I would want those folks to meet at one location so I do not have to drive all over Portland/Vancouver to pick people up.

This is a Monday night, so plan accordingly.

I really hope I am not the only FReeper to attend, lets make this a NW FReep to remember!

I heard today that the Oregonian came out today supporting Kerry. Did anyone read this? I won't buy their liberal rag anymore, so I haven't been able to verify it.

Thank you, I have my letter all set to email to their editorial department. Here is their email address:

letters@news.oregonian.com

All Oregon Freepers can send them responses. Maybe someone knows how to ping Oregon Freepers to alert them to this. I'm a long time lurker, but new to posting here and I don't know how to do it yet.

Thank you.

I wish I could be there with you to Freep Moore, but I'll be with you in spirit. Don't know if I could stomach seeing MM in person any way, he looks bad enough on TV, but at least I can turn that off! LOL

I will do just that. I have a good friend that lives in Salem. She went to see Laura Bush when she was at the community college in Salem recently, and I'm sure she'd be interested in this.

I know how hard it can be to get to these things, and some are just not comfortable with protests, but if we let enough people know we should be able to get to 50+.

Just emailed the link to my friend, but she probably won't read it until morning, as she's an early riser. (I am too, but I never make it to bed early. FR keeps me up too late! LOL) Hopefully, she'll be able to make it. It sounds like great fun!

You might want to post a map to show how easy it is to get to the Fairgrounds.
Also, repost Sunday.
