Sinclair is making a great move... This publicity and highly ethical stance to air TRUTH will no doubt catapult them to prominence. If they "stay the course" we may yet see a further counterbalance to the liberal propaganda machine known as the MSM.

If you want a laugh, go over to DU...they're going nuts about this. The Dems are so naive when it comes to business.

They're providing all kinds of publicity for the film (much like we made the mistake of doing for Moore's piece of trash). Why are they afraid: Because this is about the TRUTH and they "CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH."

Boycott advertisers? Most business owners (being logical, hard working people) are Republicans. They will reward the Sinclair stations.

Happen to know a little about advertsing myself. I'll do my part.

Well I took you advice and read some of the posts at DU... I normally try to avoid that. Just too much bile and hate among the posters there. Not just toward republicans/conservatives, but a lot of infighting it seems.

Anyway, I think the interesting thing is all the posts there asking people to write to the FCC. There is your typical democrat responce - try and get the governent involved. Don't bother trying to deal with the company directly..

All those posts urging people to "write to the FCC so they will know we are really irked" (or course they weren't quite as friendly in their wording). I wonder what exactly the think the FCC can / will do if they get enough complaints?

Well at least we know what they want the FCC to do. Reinterprete the first amendment just a bit: "...or abridging the freedom of speech (of liberals), or of the (liberal) press; or the right of (liberal) people peaceably to assemble"

I guess I should be happy that they don't understand how the world works enough to approach the problem in a meaningful way and are wasting their time whining to some government agany.

Sinclair has a poll at its news website, Newscentral, regarding the documentary. The lefties are winning so far - let's even the score!

Yes, I am going to buy shares.

I've also received an e-mail from one of the advertisers on a Sinclair station in Ohio (car dealership) that a DU'er claims she/he got them to pull their advertising. My e-mail from the dealership said they did not pull their advertising because of this....they pulled it a long time ago. Seemed a little perturbed that someone was saying they pulled it because of this and wanted to know where that information came from. I gladly told him!

In addition, I've talked to a couple of advertisers over the phone and both said they had no plans to pull their advertising over this.

Very good! Right now, I can only buy 250 shares. I hope to buy more in the next few days.

We need your HELP to Defend the Constitution and
Free Speech! The liberals are out for blood!
Is this a "Free Republic" or what?

THIS IS "STOLEN TRUTH"

To buy shares of stock, the symbol is SBGI.

The stock price slumped slightly today, from $7.38
to $7.29, probably because investors are nervous
about all the talk of FCC investigations and
advertiser boycotts. That's why I bought 685 shares
at $7.30. I placed a "limit" order in case the
stock went down (it did), so that if the stock
was under pressure my order would help keep it
up. You can do something like that, rather than
just jump in. Place a "limit" order so that
you only buy if the stock price goes down, to
help keep it up.

I tried to send an e-mail, but it rejected it. I just wanted to say "Thank You" to them.
