If that's the case, then I guess she won't be prosecuted for statutory rape. However, even then she has demonstrated that she is not qualified to be a teacher.

The problem I have with your posts, though, is that you are de facto APPROVING of what's happened here. You can squirm around about it, but that's the bottom line -- sounds like a bit of vicarious wish-fulfillment from your own HS days.

I just wanted to point out, to all those who were ready to burn her at the stake, that we don't have all the facts of the case. I am not approving of the "relationship" at all. It is immoral and it is adultery. It is also fornication. It is sin, to put it plainly.
I just refuse to buy the line that this guy is some sort of "abuse victim" when he has lived the fantasy of millions of boys his age.
