Since A. Sullivan has made his support of Kerry quite clear and based on one issue (gay marriage) why is he suddenly so silent about Kerry's outing of Mary Cheney?

It is a queer way to behave. Strange, strange behavior. Wouldn't it be queer if he ripped on Chenney? Not really that strange for a democrat... but very queer behavior for someone who use to be a Republican.

Kerry took a cheap shot in an attempt to dissuade conservative Christians from supporting Bush/Cheney. Considering Edwards did the same "outing" in the VP debate, one can only conclude that it was a strategy.
Yeah. Kerry is just a little bit slow on the uptake. Of course he's campaigning like it's 1974.
Probably hiding. I asked him why his sex life was his top priority in a national candidate given the serious problems we face as a nation. He hasn't answered. Can you imagine anyone voting for a Presidential candidate because of his sex life?
He's got too much other religious baggage in his trunk to even dare bring it up.
I swear to God,I was just doing late night dishes and thought the same exact thing to myself. Sullivan needs to take the hit on gay marriage and come to the defense of Cheney.
Wherever he is, he isn't on a romantic getaway with Mary Cheney.
Probably trying to come up with a rationalization of the Kerry-Edwards attack on the Cheneys in light of his recent support of the despicable democrat duo.
As soon as he comes up with it we'll be graced with it, I'm sure.
