A caller to Rush last week brought up an interesting theory as to why NJ is in play (besides the 9/11 factor) - There are somehting like 14 pharmaceutical companies in NJ. Together they employ almost a million people. If those two Snake Oil Salesmen get elected and the govt starts importing drugs from Canada and Mexico, every employee of those pharma companies will feel it.
Interesting, huh? Spread the word... I am!!
We get Laura Bush next Thursday.
I've noticed alot more Bush/Cheney bumper stickers in just the last 2-3 weeks. Before that, it was 10 to 1 Kerry bumper stickers. I'm from the liberal North Jersey area too.
Anybody know how many electoral votes NJ has? It's a very densly populated state so I'm guessing it should be alot.
He is going to be in Marlton, NJ (Burlington County).
There are basically no tickets. VIPs and party insiders only.

I was wondering when they'd concentrate on NH again. :-)
picture this:
Kerry's internals tell him FL is out of play and he's down 8 in Ohio. He's already losing Wisconsin and behind in Iowa. Refer to Carl Cameron's comments.
For every visit to OH that Kerry can maybe peel 2% off that number, Bush comes back to WI, MN and IA and puts another 1% back up. Kerry has NO Electoral Vote formula that allows him to win without OH. Bush has many ways.
Maryland is the West Virginia of this year.
15 EVs, as I recall. (he says hesitantly...)
It warms my heart to hear that. My communist brother lives in Marlton... I hope he hits some major traffic the day of the rally.
He and John McCain and Barb were here after the 1st debate. He loves NH. :-)
Good. NJ is coming into play. Make the Dims spend time and money there.
Exactly, and it's good press to have the prez fighting for a blue state!
How about this for a T-shirt for a 1 and 2 year old?
ME AND MY MOMMY FEEL SAFE WITH PRESIDENT BUSH.
One or two little stops in NJ are not going to hurt him. Also, his PA buys, especially in the Philly area, cover good parts of NJ so its not like he's going to have to spenbd alot of money there.
Will Rudy be with him?
If he uses Route 70, he has major traffic 24/7.
Here is one I saw the other day that I liked.
"Ain't FONDA Kerry"
I think the Bush campaign knows where the race is... unlike the rest of us.
LLS
I will concede that point to you. Just offering MHO that OH and FL are critical spots for visits and NJ is not.
