Duelfer report - Regime Strategy and WMD Timeline Events [9-11-01 to March 19th-03]
CIA ^ | 10-15-04 | Duelfer Report

Posted on 10/15/2004 5:08:48 PM PDT by OXENinFLA

As I was perusing the Duelfer report I found this timeline chart very interesting in understanding what happened when and who did what.

And since some may not have seen the report I took the time to make this up.

I've bolded a few things but other than that, and my finial addition, this is taken directly from V1 pdf page 435 of the Duelfer report.

Please feel free to comment on things noted here or add additional information that fits in this timeline concerning the ramp up to OIF and what Nations in the UN were doing to work against the US.

Didn't Blix declare Iraq in "material breach" of UN resolutions in late January or early March of 2003... leading to withdraw of inspectors?

No, I was wrong, he didn't.

This is about as close as he got.

Against this background, the question is now asked whether Iraq has cooperated, "immediately, unconditionally and actively," with UNMOVIC, as is required under Paragraph 9 of Resolution 1441. The answers can be seen from the factor descriptions that I have provided.

Good article that answers your question...

While Blix did not use the much-anticipated term "material breach," this is exactly what the report describes.

Thanks OX... I knew it was some convoluted explanation.

BTW.. I also remember hearing Putin quoted somewhere before the war.. "let them invade, they will not find any wmd" or something to that effect. I need to put on my pajamas and find the exact quote.
