Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left
David Horowitz
Description: David Horowitz spoke recently to the Georgetown University College Republicans about his book "Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left." In it, the author examines what he calls the relationship between liberal American ideologies and radical Islam through shared interests and beliefs. Mr. Horowitz also claims that American liberals are so against the war on terror that they have attacked American homeland security policies as well as their international policies.
Author Bio: David Horowitz was a founder of the New Left movement of the 1960s, a civil rights activist, and the author of numerous books including "The Art of Political War" and "Radical Son." He is currently the president of the Center for the Study of Popular Culture.
Horowitz gave an impassioned speech of righteous indignation against the democrats & the Left and their undermining of the war effort.
Should be replayed on network TV for all to see.
I watched it earlier today. It was spectacular. He really slammed Kerry on a lot of points that the Republicans seem to let Kerry get away with such as the "rush to war". There was no "rush to war". There was a U.N. resolution. Also the only reason inspectors were there at all was because there were U.S. troops massing in Kuwait.
He was very impassioned. It was good to watch.
I saw it! It was, like you said, great! The fact that David Horowitz, was a leftwing back in the day, proves that something is awry (deeply bad-wrong) -- with the current democrat party. Horowitz put it succinctly when he said that they are not just Liberals (dont tell kerry) anymore -- they are now, the Radical Left. Which includes Al Gore, Howard Dean, and the like.
It really was MUST SEE TV
Tape this for your friends and relatives who aren't sure, but may be leaning toward voting for Kerry.
This will change their minds.
Hitchens was on Russert,,he was magnificent. These two guys are great.
Missed that. Since Hitchens is a socialist, it depends on the subject. But when he's good, he's Good.
