"Independent Voter" Wife almost convinced to vote for Bush!

Posted on 10/16/2004 8:55:40 PM PDT by right way right

People, there are many like me out there that do have people in their lives who have not made up their minds.

I have a Wife who is very private about her voting habits. (She leans Democrat so it is a major source of anxiety in our relationship.)

She has concerns about Bush such as job outsourcing because she was a Boeing employee and was laid off as a result of this. (as she see's it). Also she has concerns about unemployment in this country. (Yeah, I know?) She likes Bush's stance on the War on terror.
She needs education on George Soros and his activities and she needs to understand MSM media bias and how it munipulates people who are not fully engaged from day to day in politics.

She's leaning Bush help me to push her on into the light.

Another good read - "Treason" by Ann Coulter. Excellent insights into the dangers of leftist thinking and political ties.

For every job outsourced there are 6 insourced !

If we made outsourcing illegal Americans would lose 6 to 1 !

My mom, who voted for Clinton and Gore, told me today that she is voting for Bush because of the security issue.

I am a Christian woman and a mother of 2 sons.To me being a Christian means following what Gods word says.God clearly says in the Bible that he forms the child in the womb. No one has a right to snuff out that life.I could never vote for John Kerry because he wants to take away my rights as a parent.John Kerry believes in partial birth abortion, the most barbaric procedure there is.He is against parental notification when your child wants to have an abortion , or obtain birth control. God calls us to not only talk the talk but walk the walk.To me my faith above all else is paramount in my life.If she truly is a Christian there is no other way to vote except for Mr Bush. Our faith in God is what determines how we live our lives.God says faith without works is dead, something John Kerry does not understand,or he would be against abortion. He does not live his so called professed faith.I can't vote for John Kerry because i believe what the word of God says.I live my faith, and oppose abortion even if its not a popular stance to take.Since God says he creates life in the womb, for someone else to destroy that life would be murder. When i go to the polls to vote i have no other choice ,but to vote for Mr. Bush my faith will let me do no other.I hope this helps you ,in convincing your wife who to vote for.

Tell her that if John Kerry had his way in '91 (when he voted against the Gulf War)--Saddam Hussein would not only be in control of Iraq, but also Kuwait!! Saddam would be controlling over 1/3 of the world's oil while 'windsurfing' on the Persian Gulf.

Well, my wife was a self-described "New Deal Democrat" until sKerry literally "scared" her away from that position.

The Wellstone funeral may have had some influence, too.

You want links? I have so many it would be confusing, so let me simply post one, and remind you that within this one link are many others, which if you follow them all, will give a clearer picture:

sKerry's MANDATORY National Service plan

thread 2

IT SPARES NO ONE from being FORCED to volunteer for sKerry's taxpayer funded plans!

Since you can't be in the voting booth with her to determine who she actually votes for on November 2nd, I'd encourage her to stay home.

I'm sure she doesn't want to see terrorists dancing in the streets on Nov. 3 with a Bush defeat. It is vital that Bush be re-elected.

GailA--This Kerry draft is absolutely frightening. Think of it as FORCED leftist indoctrination!

Bootless--looks like a lot of good FReeper advice here already! GailA's links alone should give this wife enough ammo to withstand the pro-Kerry MSM onslaught.

It ought to scare the 18-26 year olds too. Forced to do 2 years of community service, supposedly for a 'free' college education, then get socked with the TAX BILL when they begin to own property or pay rent or on their state income tax. DUMB people don't learn very well.

sKerry says his plan if voluntary to the states...ever known a state to turn down federal $$? I haven't. And those profs and colleges will BEG and DEMAND this plan because it fits their socialist schemes of brainwashing.

Ask her how much of the management's decision was based on the socialist actions of your disfunctional (in business' eyes) state/city/county governments. Our local gov't. idiots are doing their best to expel businesses from Oregon also. It seems to be working in both of our states.

I despise outsourcing and I have problems with Bush on that issue. He's terrible there.

That said, Kerry is even worse on outsourcing. He voted for NAFTA, GATT, and most favored nation trade status for China. That makes outsourcing more beneficial to companies.

Kerry also contributes to outsourcing by higher taxes and regulations on businesses. His 1993 tax vote for example. This makes it cheaper for companies to ship work overseas.

Lastly, tort reform would reduce the costs. Kerry opposes it.
