The Dems are mindlessly falling into another trap. All their hand-wringing about Sinclair is just getting the documentary free publicity Now if only we could get Abe Foxman to denounce the film....

Let's hope that some of the viewers around the country record "Stolen Honor" and pass it around to their friends.

Risks Seen for TV Chain Showing Film About Kerry Translated from MSM-Speak: "This is a threat...desist or we will destroy you."
To: neverdem
Already, Sinclair's decision has alienated some advertisers; enraged consumer and media watchdog groups, who are vowing to challenge its station licenses when they come up for renewal; and given pause to some analysts and investors considering the company's financial outlook. I heard one of the top execs at Sinclair on a talk show the other day. He said the first day they were getting an obviously organized email campaign against airing it. But by the next day his email was running 80% in favor of it. As far as threats of boycotts and complaints to the FCC, his response was "Bring it on!".

Give defamed, tortured, forgotten, and now summarily dismissed Vietnam Vets a voice against a terrible injustice and this is what you get. May Sinclair profit despite their plans against him and may the veterans be vindicated.

Senator John Kerry could find his presidential hopes damaged this week when the 62 television stations owned or managed by the Sinclair Broadcasting Group carry a documentary about his antiwar activities 30 years ago. Considering all the anti-Bush propaganda that saturates the airwaves and print media, this complaint by the NY Slimes rings completely hollow. Where's their condemnation of Michael Moore's pay-per-view of F9/11? Where's their condemnation of the Sundance channel? Of the CBS memo hit piece? Eh? EH?
Oh right...that stuff is "fair game," right?

Exactly. This story has one audience and one audience only - to try to scare Sinclair's advertisers into dumping their buys to Sinclair stations.
I'm always amazed at how the mainstream media acts so offended whenever somebody on the conservative side presents the same agenda-driven propaganda they provide on a regular basis. They seem to think there's a difference between Sinclair putting on a documentary critical of Kerry and them putting on news programs that are critical of Republicans. There is no difference other than the point of view presented.

"Have you or anyone here seen the whole video? What is your impression?" I haven't seen the film. But The liberals seem very fearful of having this documentary broadcast to the public. That's all the proof I need that it's going to be damaging to Kerry's campaign.

Notice how they didn't indicate PA, MO, WV, ME, MI as swing states. How convenient. I guess liberals love pretend things are better than reality.

It is my understanding that Sinclair has from the beginning tried to get Kerry involved with his side of the story. Kerry has refused to participate and sent his band of lawyers after everyone involved in making this movie.
he knows there is NOTHING that could counteract the truths that will be shown - and not made up...these are actual films of him and his actions and his words. There is film and testimony and documents that prove how he manipulated and concocted out of thin air, "testimony" of attrocities. He coerced some to lie, and many of them had never even been in the service, let alone Veitnam. Many of the stories, by some of these non-vets were so outrageous - like one who said he had skinned alive some 100 people in an hour - that we might wonder how many of our 'esteemed' lawmakers in the hearings knew this was all a lite. there may be a lot more major but-covering going on than we know. It would explain how Kerry could have gotten so far with the protests in the first place? WE know that he hob-nobbed with Kennedy even then. He can't explain them away even with the best of his forked tongue rhetoric. He has to stop them.
I see such poetic justice in this - the wheels of justice grinding slowly - but surely.
NOW THEN - when are we, the public in rest of the states going to demand equal access to the film? WE have a right to know who we are voting for! well, we're not, but you know what I mean.

I'm always amazed at how the mainstream media acts so offended whenever somebody on the conservative side presents the same agenda-driven propaganda they provide on a regular basis. I wouldn't call the testimony of former prisoners of war about the effects of Kerry's testimony before the Senate's Foreign Relations Committee in April 71 and his other anti-war activities propaganda. I would call it news that someone has given them their chance to tell their side of their story about Kerry.

Editor, New York Times:
I have been subjected to many years of liberal media bias. I am 48, and for most of those years of my life, living in a small Ohio town, I only had access to ABC, NBC, and CBS.
I DEFY you to tell me that they have been "fair and balanced" during that timespan.
Instead of targeting Sinclair, I would think you would be doing a follow-up of the Rather/CBS/fraudulent documents about our President.
Sincerely,
LMS

As if the media was concerned over boycotts of Lion's Gate, Landmark Cinema, Sony, et al for distributing Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9-11.
Anytime the libs offer advice to conservatives, beware of the crocodile tears that they shed over your predicament.
