Soros tries to game elections futures market
Conspiracy to keep you poor and stupid ^ | Saturday, October 16, 2004 | Donald L. Luskin

BUSH FUTURES BEING MANIPULATED There is now no question whatsoever that the Bush re-election futures contract at Tradesports.com is being manipulated. Yesterday the price of the futures were sold down from about 55 (indicating the market's estimate of a 55% probability of Bush's re-election) to 10 (indicating on a 10% probability) with a single 10,000-lot order entered by a single trader. An order that size represents twice the normal volume of an entire typical day's trading. Within moments after the order was completed, the price recovered back to the low-mid-50's.

According to sources at Tradesports, yesterday's order was entered by the same individual who has heavily sold the Bush futures three times over the past month. The first instance was on September 14, when this trader sold the futures down from the mid-60's to 49.6. The second instance was in the middle of the second presidential debate on October 8, when the futures were sold down from the high 50's to 51.5. The third instance was right after the third presidential debate on October13. As the debate began the futures were priced at 57, and by the end of the debate they had risen to 60. Then a few moments later they were beaten down to 54 in a matter of minutes.......

Poor George Soros. After all his cheating, hate, manipulation and outright illegal hundreds of millions spent in an insane attempt to defeat President Bush, Bush is still going to win. What is a hate-filled Eastern European billionaire to do? Ve have vays.... an exit through the windows of his penthouse apartment comes to mind....

I'd prefer a more torturous way for SorAss to go. Preferably falling into a HUGE fireant nest up to his waist.

It is possible and probable that Soros is also manipulating the crude oil market. If so, expect to see a large drop in crude oil prices right after November 2.

Just like the terrorist are manipulating the jihadi market. I expect a big drop in jihadi recruitment after Bush wins. Terrorists are toast.

I hate to sound ignorant on this subject, but what exactly did Bush do to this dweeb. I mean, it makes no since for a billionaire to back Kerry, who will tax the crap out of him, so I wonder if this is more personal with Soros, and hence my question.

So someone dropped $100k three times on Tradesports in an attempt to influence events, the "market" wasn't phased and marched onward. To say it was Soros is limiting your scope of potential suspects as there's a lot of monied leftist wing-nuts who would drop a lot of money gambling on our nation's future.

The RICH do NOT pay high taxes amigo. They hire fancy accountants and lawyers to write off EVERYTHING they can. How else can Tereza and her lapdog only pay 12.5%! I'm middle-class and I pay at LEAST 18%.

Soros is a currency speculator.

He has massive short positions on the US dollar and he is helping the Dems win as an investment strategy.

Let's say Kerry wins. What do you think happens to the US dollar. The investment community is full of extremely intelligent people who don't fool around when it comes to handling money. If Kerry wins, Soros wins a billion dollars.

I know, but this smacks as something personal to me, I don't think Soros gives a rip about anything other than making more money. I wonder if Bush did something in the War on Terror that cost Soros a lot of money. Like shutting an organization down that was tied to terror that he was heavily invested in or something like that.
