In the tracking polls, and every other poll done over the weekend, it seems that Kerry had a very good day of Sunday polling. This doesn't mean he suddenly had a surge in real support. It simply means that, as is usual on the weekends, more Democrats/liberals were at home to answer the phone.

He said the undecideds end up not voting,
OR more often than not sticking with the 'safer' of the two choices.
