Haven't seen any recent Texas polls. Probably a tossup.

I think all Freepers will need to each send me a six pack of my choice when my sage prediction comes to pass: Bush 44, Kerry 6+DC. Prost

Polls opened in Florida today. Long line all day at Bay County (Panama City) Voter Registrar's office. Mostly Bush stickers on cars of those voting. Bay doesn't have the touch screen voting, we use scan-tron ballots like we did four years ago (color in the oval on the paper ballot next to candidate or issue to vote, machine reads it and stores ballot electronically and physically. Machine rejects instantly any overvotes.) My wife and 2 older children will vote tomorrow for Bush and GOP down ballot. Looks to be a strong turnout here. Bush supporters are jazzed and turning out in droves. All voters are positively ID'ed with driver's license, mil ID or similar. Our Registrar is a Republican and a strict enforcer of the law. God Bless Mark Anderson!

new" polling firms popping up, like Survey USA and Chicago Tribune. How can all these pools be so far apart at times?

Different agendas, look where the candidates were campaigning today. President Bush was in dim territory, and Mr. Heinz was propping up his base in Palm Beach Fla., a dim stronghold.

You newbies are out in force tonight with your doom and gloom posts.

You are not kidding. Every post I go to read and it's doom and gloom from new posters:

No, it does not. However, I don't understand why a legitimate discussion cannot take place without you "fossilized freepers freaking out. You have no idea just how much I am pulling for Bush, which is a ton. I thought I could hear an exchange of Ideas about wehat is going on in the elction. Instead, you go for the insults. I've been in politics a long time, probebly longer than you. does that make you a "Newbie" to the game?
C'mon, lets just talk about the election.
No doom and gloom here. I have been working for a bush win since 2002.

Just thank goodness for Pissant, and his uncanny ability to truly predict the outcome.

Oh my gosh! Imagine enforcing an ID requirement. Just think of all those disenfranchised illegal aliens, felons, and room-temperature folks that will be denied their chance to vote.

I'm from Jacksonville. I was in Orlando in 2000 not here so I can't compare Jacksonville 2000 to 2004 but it is clear that Kerry is going to take an absolute drubbing here, maybe 2 to 1.

Oh man. Kerry will (would) disarm this country and arm the Mullahs.

He will (would) be much worse than Clinton was.

Count me as one who isn't impressed with RCP, and thus don't give much weight to its analysis of the moment. However, Kerry's latest ads and lies ARE effective, and need to be successfully addressed and refuted by the President.

Thank you for the info. I guess what I meant to say is that this seems to be their first appearence in this election. I do not find any other previous polls from them, and no National polls at all. (this year)
