Forget the polls. If you live or have friends or family in OH, FL, WI, NH, NM, IA, NV, get as many potential republican voters out. If you go to church, talk to as many people at church as you can. Walk your neighborhood 72 hrs before the election and on election day. Send out emails or calls to long time friends you have not spoken to in awhile. Take it very seriously and have no regrets.

Cautious Optimism.

Don't Forget Minnesota. Rass has us tied, the State Democratic Paper, the Minneapolis Star Tribue, which historically has over sampled democrats 5-7% has Kerry up 5 which means in reality he is about 3 points down here in MN. We need EVER Bush voter in Minnesota to show up so we can shock and awe the Kerry camp by Taking Minnesota Republican for the 1st time since 1972.

I'm just a little worried, as there are just sooooooooo many polls now. Who knows what to believe anymore? Generally, I have always gone with Rasmussen and Battleground polling. I am worried about all the fraud out there. But I am really worried about all these "new" polling firms popping up, like Survey USA and Chicago Tribune. How can all these pools be so far apart at times?

You worry too much. The Living God is going to have these God-haters in derision. There is no way sKerry is going to win.

It does get kinda frustrating being from Texas because other than voting on Nov. 2nd and yes, I am going to wait for the actual Election Day experience, I feel helpless to well, help.

I remember a couple of weeks ago that it was predicted that John Howard might not be re-elected in Australia, that Kerry's sister was down there campaigning against him. The day of the election he won handily even though the majority of Australians are against the war in Iraq.

Is FR a site dedicated to civil discourse among like-minded conservatives or a debating society on who should control the "flow" within FR: newbies or oldies?

Are we going to disseminate and debate issues that are of utmost importance to all of us conservatives, both newbies and oldies?

For the record, I am a newbie but that doesn't imply that I cannot discuss intelligently with the oldies nor does it mean that because someone is an oldie that they are wise.

Now that I got that off my chest, I am going to go and discuss issues and learn. That's what I came here for!!!

I guess it's sort of an unspoken rule around here.

But newbies that post vanities that are "questionable", IMHO, deserve a little scrutiny.

Posting an article, well that's one thing, no problem there. Posting a vanity...a whole other ball game.

There are times it has gotten so doom and gloomy, I spend all my time reading the blogs at Blogs for Bush and only check out the news stories here...

Mostly folks, we have to keep on keeping on, getting the word out, cutting down the lies and working hard.

For me, that's praying, writing, and keeping the faith. They WANT us to feel bummed out. It's to keep us away from the polls.

Ain't going to work with me and mine!

So far only CedarDave has offered to send the beer my way. If you want quid pro Quo, put yer cards on the table and we'll see who is closer on Nov 2. But in all frankness, you should volunteer to send me a six pack when I'm right, just for having the pleasure of my clarvoyance.

The State polls almost always lag behind the National polls

I noticed that as well, maybe by next week or around November 2nd the state polls will show a more decisive lead in the battleground states. Timing is everything.

1- Look up Jeb's margin of victory in 2002.
2- Look up the size of the GOP majority in Florida state government.
3- Consider that Dan Rather will fool no one by calling Florida for Gore before the polls even close.
4- Consider that Kerry's own mother use her last words on this earth in a futile effort to instill integrity in him.
5- Consider- no more Reno, Ashcroft now.

Then pop a top and chill. Our boy gots a lock on the Sunshine State.

For the life of me I cannot figure why you are so down in the mouth. Only a sKerry supporter should be down now. Go ove and look at DU. You'll leave feeling dirty. Every where you go the Rats are downhearted, because they know in a couple of weeks it's four more years of Bush.

After 30,000 or so I'm just beginning to get my bearings. Anybody who thinks they're qualified to go toe-to-toe with oldtimers after a couple of weeks is out of it. BIG TIME!
